I leave REALLY early, not usually hungry, so I pack containers with an ounce of almonds or walnuts and stick one in my pocket to eat on the drive in. Black coffee makes it all work.

They aren't really workout pants, but I often wear LL Bean Perfect Fit pants in the winter. They look like cotton slacks, but have a bit of stretch. Great for roller blading and other outdoor workouts, and I even wear them to the gym sometimes. I have short legs, and they come in petite sizes.

Sounds like you may be gaining muscle. Start taking measurements of your waist, or just notice if your pants are getting looser.

I have never seen anyone else do deadlifts at my gym. Both genders tend to go for the cardio equipment and machines. Since I started doing HIIT with kettlebells, I occasionally see someone pick one up and mess around with it. It's just a little strip-mall gym with not a lot of amenities (an Anytime Fitness), but I can park…

The most important thing is to use the KBs (or dumbbells--I used them a bit for certain moves) in full-body movements like squats, cleans, swings, snatches, etc. Lots of good resources for this on Youtube.

I have had success with incorporating kettlebells into a HIIT routine for both strength and cardio fitness. Saw some weight loss and strength gains almost immediately. I used 4 workouts in a rotation: upper body emphasis vs. lower body. (Obviously KBs work out the whole body). I did the workouts twice a week: A/B, then…

I decided to stop by the park for some inline skating before heading home from work. Tripped, fell and slid chest-first down the asphalt trail, then got up to find that every single button had been torn from my shirt. My bra, though intact, was not a sports bra, and certainly not meant for public viewing. I had to skate…

Sprints, kettlebell swings, or jumping rope are all good.

Gaining 2 kg sounds like results to me. If you weren't previously exercising at this level, perhaps you are gaining muscle.

HIIT! Check out interval training, though you may have to start kind of easy if you haven't worked out for long.
