Many things but the main thing was the terrible depression. The depression was the culmination of a heap of things weight related... I felt ugly, didn't want to socialise, didn't want any photos taken, anxiety about social situations, being tired, sad... The day you wake up and decide to go for that walk and do something…

So true!! I did the same thing when I gave up diet softdrinks for a month... my first sip after that time and it tasted like poison! You definitely become more discerning!!!

I just love MFP and the people that are on it. I recommend it to everyone. We all have baggage. My weight problems come from many factors including a mother with binge eating issues, a poor attitude and knowledge towards food, being poor growing up, bad self esteem... it's all connected! One thing I've realised growing…

My boyfriend is a vegetarian and to make life easier we have a vegetarian household and rarely do I eat meat. I have never had an issue with my health and am never low on iron etc. It absolutely is fine, just a balanced diet is needed as always :)

Thanks to everyone who read and replied! RunningAweigh, you are absolutely right. I guess I haven't really thought it all through properly and am maybe letting my emotions take over my common sense! I must say that over the last 2.5 weeks since I started watching what I eat and walking I have felt so much happier with less…
