I find that I feel very tired and just not right if I've eaten more than my daily allowance. I believe a lot of this is due to the fact that the food I ate is probably either fast or processed food, and all that junk in it affects me. I also feel bloated. When I eat healthy, staying within my healthy guidelines, I feel…

My opinion is to get a second opinion from a certified nutritionist and/or dietician. As stated before, everyone is different, but I have also read that 1200 is the bare minimum. You will lose on 800-900 calories, but will gain the weight back much faster once you start maintaining. Good luck and God bless!

I've made a commitment this year to really do something to become more healthy. I've talked a good game for too long, and I'll be 62 in August. Hubby just retired the end of last year, so we're doing this together. Please friend me and we'll encourage each other!

If I think the calorie count is off, I'll check the food product itself. I've found that there are so many listings of the same food on MFP, and the nutrition information is so different, it's better to try and look at the package. I don't trust any of the gym equipment for calories, heart rate, etc. They're never right! :)

We got them together. Third is my design of a hand signing "I Love You", with hubby's name underneath and our daughter's name on the top. This…

If you are losing weight and exercising, being healthy about it and not starving yourself, then others have no right to tell you what you should do. Continue doing what you need to do to get to goal, and be proud of what you've accomplished so far. Sometimes, other people are more jealous than helpful. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have tried it all, and even though I've lost 30 pounds in 5 years, I have more or less stopped. I get obsessed with tracking and the scale, and then say I'm not going to do it anymore, just to turn around and do it again. Your post is very inspiring and I thank you so much. I am thankful…
