My High carb day is around 100-120, and low carb around 50-60. I've lost 68 pounds in the last 90 days, which translates to a 16% reduction in body weight. It's worked well for me, and aside from the first 10 days, it hasn't been difficult at all. I pursued a more rapid approach for health reasons, related to type 2…

I don't know this Kale, I don't know what he does.

Corn is delicious. Candy is delicious too. Candy Corn... well... Doesn't matter, because I am diabetic and can have NONE of it. :(
-
Probably too many carbs making you sleepy.

I had some of the peach flavor... It had an odd flavor like someone had poured a little beer in it.

I reduced simple carbs and lost a large amount of weight fairly quickly. I chose the low carb approach to control my type 2 diabetes, and it's just working out great for me. If I took the next step to being a clean eater, it would probably be better, but for now I really need to develop a way of eating that I can stick to…

50... I haven't updated yet, but I've lost a total of 100 lbs in 200 days.

This happens everywhere; the rumor around my workplace is that I lost 100 lbs snorting coke. I am not going to chase down that rumor and stamp it out. Instead, I will act shady every time I go to the restroom and make them all cluck like the little hens they are. Have to have thick skin and just go with it. These aren't…

"Too Fast" is relative to the individual. If you weigh 150 lbs and lose 15% of your body weight in two weeks, there would be some cause for concern. If you're considerably heavier, like I am, then it's not such a big deal. Similarly, if you are near the beginning of your diet, your body is changing in other ways that cause…

Happy to have progressed from an elephants penis to a baby horse.

Exactly! I would have never known that had I not been obsessive about testing. The only way I found out that I could handle potato but not onion is by testing, testing, and testing again. I plan my meals according to my workday and exercise plan. If I am going to be very active then I add some carbs to my breakfast, if I…

We can absolutely persevere and achieve similar results. The show makes it look like you have to work out 4-5 hours a day, have state of the art equipment, and have a top notch team of medical doctors, trainers, and dieticians at your beckon. Divide their weight loss by 52 weeks and you'll see they're just over 3 lbs a…

Not allowed to send anything like that to my kids school because kids are allergic to everything these days.

I became morbidly obese while still being quite active. I ate about 4700 calories a day for 13 years... There's no question why I weighed 450 lbs. I ate too much and didn't care. That's probably what's up with your coworkers too... They don't care about being obese and want convenience and comfort while they're in denial…

I'm in. Had a huge health scare back in May. Since then I've been absolutely obsessed with getting fit.

Guilt Free days - Where you just eat normally and don't restrict anything. It doesn't quite mean that you can down an 8-cut though. It also keeps your weeks the same. That way your low & high carb days are always on the same day of the week. I stay LC almost all the time. Even my high-carb days are somewhat low carb…

I usually try to follow the turbo cycle, but I did the regular plus a slingshot week this month. Turbo has served me well, but I slowed down for a while. I switched it up and started losing quickly again. I will go back on Turbo on Sept 1st.

She was all around terrible. The singing was awful, her dancing was awkward, and the choreography was bizarre. Robin Thicke was no better... I'd like to say that the freak show Cyrus was putting on threw him off, but he was pitchy and fell behind when he performed on America's Got Talent too. That's the problem with music…

That both inspires me and makes me feel shame. I started the fit test last week, with a mildly sprained ankle. I quit and put it off until my ankle heals. That was crap! I can run on my ankle, so that was just an excuse that I sold myself because it was hard. I should slap myself.
-
That is quite good! Thank you.

Great work!

I was over 400 lbs when I brought my GT XCR4000 out of it's 13 year slumber, into a new life of torment. It's a full suspension bike so I had to crank the 800 lb rear spring, that served me well when I was 200 lbs, down to the point that it's almost locked out. I really expected the rear triangle to break, or something,…

I was so unhealthy that I was near death. <--- Strong motivator.

We're on the same trip, my friend. 42 years old, diabetic, and droppin' hundreds. I was right where you are on May 25th. We can do this... We have to.

I had never thought of that, and now you officially really creeped me out! lol
-
I gave up on the NFL but I still love the game. I look forward to hockey season most.
-
One would think that a good creeper would never start their profile bio off with "I am a God-Fearing, Christian, Family-Man." But then again, it could be a creeper disguise.

So these people are willing to drop cash to make themselves talk a like "derp" for weeks, but not willing to just sack-up and do the diet, for free? If they are that weak-willed they're just going to stuff themselves as soon as the patch is removed.
-
Good thing you said that, because I was all set to tell you about my shrunken boobs and muffin top.

I've said that I can't find an extra hour to workout countless times. The truth is that I was just making an excuse not to do it, because I didn't really want to. It's not easy, and it certainly cuts into something else. If you want it, you just have to do it.
