I'd say don't stress over it too much, even in maintenance there are going to be days when you are over your calorie goals and still hungry, so take the days you are under to offset the days you are over. As long as things average out over the week/weeks your weight should stay pretty level.

Also long stretches as in pilaties, lotte burk method etc. has that effect, after every weight lifting excercise try stretching everything out. May help.
