From what I've seen and heard, Crossfit does seem to push the paleo diet, but it's not exclusively Crossfitters who follow it, if that makes sense...

I finished ZWOW #23 (100 burpees!)!
-
I just joined this group, I've been trying to get that 6 pack for awhile now... I realized I may not be eating enough calories, so I'm working on that as my first step. I'll take measurements and post a picture this Sunday :)

My knees have always popped any time I bend them, it's nothing to worry about unless it hurts. I read once that it is just air and there's not much you can do to fix it. Although, I heard gelatin can make it go away, but I've never tried it...

I've heard that eating local honey will help allergies, I haven't tried it yet since I can't find local honey in my area, but it makes sense it would work.

I actually like my salad without dressing, if you have enough good stuff on it, you won't notice! But, you could always squeeze some lemon juice over your salad as a dressing. I eat bread, but only the Ezekiel brand.

Since you should be giving yourself at least one rest day a week, I would say no, but I like my rest day to be at least somewhat active like taking a walk (not sitting around watching movies all day!).

fitnessbender.blogspot.com has some great at home workouts, I also love ZWOWs (on youtube).

When I started working out a lot more mine was about 2 weeks late too, I definitely think exercise and even diet can affect your cycle.

I'm 5'2 and my original goal was 110-115, now I don't have a scale and am just using muscle definition to determine my goals.

I make a delicious and healthy shake: ice, banana, coconut milk, cocoa powder (unsweetened), and either dates or honey to sweeten it. So good!
-
I like to slice zucchini and use them the same way

Two of my favorite blogs! Chocolate Covered Katie and Oh She Glows!

^^This. I've recently been doing the same thing with my macros for the last 4 weeks and cut out all grains (corn is a grain!) and sugar (except fruit and little honey). I would switch out the oatmeal for some eggs or even a green smoothie.

ohsheglows.com is a great vegan recipe blog, there isn't a recipe I've tried that hasn't been great! Some of my favorites are the sweet potato black bean salad, the tomato basil pesto, and butternut squash mac and cheese.

Agreed! This always frustrates me!

@shutterpillar a pretty Mylie Cyrus

^^^This. Next time, work out the following day and you won't be (as) sore! And drink lots of water and stretch afterwards! :)
-
This is my view too! Some may have a hard time digesting it, but if that's not the case, I don't see the harm.
-
Thank you! I love researching and trying to keep up with the most current news on nutrition and fitness! :)

I'm doing something similar, I think! I've been (mostly) grain-free for 3 weeks! I'm blogging about my journey: www.eatcleanworkdirty.blogspot.com

Well, after looking through your last few days the first thing that pops out at me is how low your calorie intake is. I know it's easy to think the less you eat the less you'll weigh, but you need to be eating enough to fuel your body! I would say up your protein and your calories!
-
I workout in the evenings and I usually have plain Greek yogurt (either Chobani or Fage brand because they have more protein), but you definitely want something with protein and some carbs to refuel.
-
So Delicious Coconut milk is the best milk replacement because it has more vitamins than other non-dairy milk _____________________________ eatcleanworkdirty.blogspot.com

I have not, but I'll have to try it. It sounds like it would taste interesting....

Here's a link from a livestrong discussion board with a ton of great information about this, I have been researching all week and this is the best information I have found so far. Good luck! http://www.livestrong.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=52024&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

I like to do HIIT workouts, they are short but very intense, just remember to REALLY push yourself! I keep a workout log and then every few months go back to workouts I've done and try to beat my personal best!

First, I'll recommend a great vegan food blog ohsheglows.com with fantastic recipes! You won't even miss the meat/dairy. But I also want to say that I've come to the conclusion that it isn't eating meat that is unhealthy, but it's the type of meat. I don't eat a lot of meat specifically because I only buy organic,…

Pretty much all fruit and even a lot of veggies are high in carbs....that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them. Most of your carbs should come from fruits and vegetables.
