They aren't really a necessity unless you want to know how much you are burning. If you are eating a clean diet and excersising regularly, you will see changes.

You should start out with a clean healthy diet! If you don't like cardio, you can walk or power walk on the treadmill and involve weights in your workout! It really does help burn the fat away and it doesn't make you bulky like you may think!
