Nice! The Overweight club :drinker:

Thank you...I never thought I would get to this point. Good luck on your journey.

I'm actually the opposite. When I started working out, I wouldn't feel hungry after a workout but I ate anyway to get that protein. Now that I increased the intensity of the workout, I am hungry by the time I leave the gym. Have you tried eating earlier than noon? Do you wake up hungry?

Agreed. Your body doesn't know its the next day yet so you could probably get away it logging it in for today. Unless you could measure what you drank before midnight and just measure what you will finish drinking by...well, by midnight tomorrow.

With small milestones, I reward myself with television. With bigger milestones I tend to do something frivolous. Last month I went to Disney On Ice (you're never too old to be a Disney fan). This month I'm going to go to a poker game (loosing money and loosing sleep is not a good combo, but it would be fun) I don't know…

There are some protein bars and granola bars out there that do not have nuts in them, you could look for those.

Well I lost 30 lbs before I noticed it in my clothes (my pants kept falling off). People around me noticed after 10lbs. I honestly didn't see it until 40 lbs.

That's the spirit. Balance :drinker:

You're right, its not for all. Some people go specific because it gives faster results or because they can't afford to go off track. It's like school. If you do the work you have to do (on time), you'll ace the class. If you just do the work you feel like doing, you could pass the class but maybe not with an A. The point…

I always feel like that. I seem to forget the past when I am looking towards the possible future. Since my brother is my workout buddy, he always tells me I'm improving greatly. I don't see the improvements, I just see what still needs improvement. It is nice to have him around so he can remind me that I have made progress…

Well the fact that you are loosing inches means that it is working. I can't see your diary so I don't know how to help you in that department but maybe, and this might sound strange, you need to up your caloric intake (the days you workout, at least). If you do hard workouts, you need more than the average caloric intake.…

 Laughing does burn off calories

Work out buddies :) Maybe tease your bridesmaid to join you

1400-1500 might be to little if you are working out. You could reach for those numbers on your rest days but if you are working out, you might need 1,000 or so more calories. If you work out effectively, those extra 1,000 won't affect you. In fact, it will help you out when you are in the gym. Have you tried strength…

Well before you give up because you are not seeing the weight loss, how do you feel? I had to lose 30lbs before I started acknowledging that I was getting slimmer. However, by ten I started feeling a difference in how clothes felt. Maybe you could try measuring yourself. You could be loosing inches even if you are not…

Best of luck

I haven't tried weight watchers so I honestly don't know if they work or not. I do know people who joined and failed. Have you tried seeing a nutritionist first...or better yet, your doctor who should know what you body needs based on your blood samples and whatnot. Or instead of trying different eating diets...try…

It depends on your goal. If you are just counting calories, then too many almonds can mess you up. If you are counting calories as well as other nutrients, then almonds are good. Think about it this way. What happens if its late at night and you still need a few more calories to eat? Eat almonds. That will take care of…

Why don't you turn the tables on them. Bring your foods and offer them to join you instead of them asking you. That way you can seem polite but you are getting your point across that you want to eat what you should be eating. You could start by saying something like "since you are always inviting me out to eat, I thought I…

It depends on the the process. If you tone while you loose, you might not have extra skin (or that much anyway). If you loose and then decide to tone, you might be stuck with a lot of excess skin. It also depends on how stretched out it is. There reaches a point where the skin won't be able to tighten itself up all the way…

So is this why people are giving up wheat now?

Eating more protein than yesterday

I think it depends on how they ask it. Some people are genuinely curious because they are not used to seeing real people (not TV people) loosing weight (and continue loosing weight). I got used to answering honestly with these people. After all, it's just a number. Then there are those people who just want to know how…

Honestly, this might sound vein, but by summer (June 28 to be specific) I want to be able to look amazing in a dress. I hate dresses! Actually, that's a lie. I love dresses! I hate wearing dresses. As a kid (when I didn't have a say in what to wear) I would wear dresses and fancy clothes and feel fine. At 3rd grade though,…

My advice is to get a workout buddy, that way you won't feel so alone. Try to get someone who shares similar goals to yourself. Which brings me to another advice. Set a goal and research how to achieve it. If you are going to do weights, you might want to get a spotter. If you go to a friendly gym, you might be able to ask…

That's true... I research exercises to do when I am bored of the exercises I already know. The best way to stay in shape is to keep things fresh.

Why is the government trying to hide the magic?

Mine has....in a good way..I hope. My confidence level has spiked with clothing. Normally I would be the girl you see all covered up (except for arms)...now I'm showing a bit more skin (mostly to show off my newly found neck bone). I haven't gotten to bare arms, short shorts, skinny jeans, or cleavage confidence.…
