I have a hard time losing the weight in numbers on the scale. I've weighed about the same for 5 years now. The only major difference I see is in inches. My clothes fit better or I sometimes even drop a whole size. I try not to go solely off what the scale says because I'd rather have results I can see than a number on a…

Well I consider myself fairly average, but here are my 5 things: 1. This year was the first time I've ever flown 2. I have recurring dreams (mainly that my parents would move without me, but one time they actually did!) 3. I am double jointed (partially due to injuries I have received over the years) 4. I don't eat seafood…

The biggest issues with my meals at work are: 1. The cafeteria is disgusting 2. No room for anyone's food in the fridge...ever... 3. Even if there is a sliver of space in the fridge, the other girls tend to eat my food :-( So I usually run out and grab whatever fast food is easy and I can eat at my desk-if I get a chance…

I cook at home most of the time, but there is not enough fridge space at work (or there are the girls in my office who help themselves to my lunch) so I either grab fast food (trying to pick healthier) or I run to the supermarket and get something to eat at my desk (so food thieves can't take it). I really liked the idea…

I am so glad I'm not the only one who goes over the protein on a regular basis. I have been working out more and have been eating more healthy snacks as a result, such as fruits, veggies, and mixed nuts. That stuff skyrockets my protein....Thanks for posing the question!!!

I taught myself how to play piano 15 years ago from an encyclopedia. I'm not very good but also not bad for self taught;-) I taught myself how to play alto saxophone when I was 12 because I wanted to join the school band and I ended up sitting first chair by the time I was a sophomore. I taught myself how to play clarinet…

I am an IT assistant currently and trying to go back to school. I started out as a medical assistant who was just lucky with our machines at the local clinic/hospital. I now provide trouble shooting/programming for our 7 clinics and am in the process of starting 2 more by the first of the year. The funniest thing that has…

I agree with the fact it's a combo between sodium intake and water intake. I have a hard time giving up the salty foods, but I drink so much water (it's the only thing I really drink besides coffee) and the days I've gone over the recommended sodium, it really shows. I retain all that water and then some. Now I rarely salt…

Hey love the goal. I've always had a tall and thin (ish) build-just more muscular than "thin". However recently It's no longer muscle. I'm slightly older than you but I'm game for a good challenge-would love to be able to wear the itty bitty bikini's. SW-166(as of 10/31/11) CW-162( as of 11/4/11) GW-145 or 150 (hopefully…

I'm usually not hungry in the mornings-as long as I have my coffee I'm good to go. However, if I don't eat by around 10 am, I am starving and tend to overeat at lunch. I have been getting around this by keeping mid-size bananas at work. They are filling without many calories and also help prevent me from getting the leg…

Thankfully, I have a good friend who is uber motivated and she and I have been going jogging (2-3 miles) at 6 am every morning before work. The days I can't jog, I try to incorporate P90X into my day (mainly on the weekends). I am not strong enough to complete the whole disc of the workouts yet, however I do as much as I…
