I buy the sugar free fudgesicles and I take one, melt it for 10 seconds in the microwave, just to get it off the stick. Put it in a small bowl with a tbsp of peanut butter--mix it all up and it's delish!

Actually I remember hearing Jillian Michaels say that it's impossible to gain that much muscle in that little bit of time. I'll have to find where I found that info out but she said that it takes a much longer time to actually gain muscle and that people just use that as an excuse LOL! I was hoping that was my answer too…

How the heck did you do that?

I tend to use allrecipes.com for my meal planning. I do the same thing! I meal plan for the week. I alter the recipes to make them lower calorie/fat, etc. most of the time. I love their Buffalo Chicken Salad recipe! We eat that a lot! You can make whole wheat quesadillas with pretty much anything in them! We eat a lot of…

You just have to do what works best for you. I personally, am a planner so I know what I"m eating at least for dinner every night. I put those in first and build the rest of my day around that.
-
Did you personally set your goals on MFP or did they set it for you? I wonder if you aren't eating enough??
-
Yes, you definitely eat a lot of sugar and fat--maybe cut that back for a few weeks or cut it out altogether. I know diets higher in protein, less carbs tend to work fastest on the belly so maybe try doing more of that. Eating more protein also keeps you fuller, longer so you may not have the cravings for the cookies,…

probably not eating enough! sounds strange but true! Open up the diary!

My clothes are tighter :( Oh and I'm 5'6", 156 (ugh). I actually burn more calories working out at the gym than I did running. I do eat back my exercise calories when I actually track my food. I know tracking food is crazy important to lose but I tend to stick to the same types of meals most days with little variations. Do…

YES!!!!

How many calories do you eat a day and do you eat your exercise calories?
-
Not sure but I'm gonna go on a limb and say no---a calorie burned it a calorie burned???? Correct me if i'm wrong.
-
circuit training. I wear a Polar HRM and the last time I did Shred Level 1, it was 20 minutes and I burned 156 calories. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. In case that helps!

I haven't a clue but I need the advice too!!

What is the Freshi 15? Never heard of this!
-
Ha! They edited out the name of the store! It's a sporting goods store that starts with a D and ends with an S! I guess they thought I was cussing!
-
I have the Polar F6 which is super easy to use once you set it up with all your info! The thing that nobody told me about these watches though is that you have to wear a chest strap so the darn thing works! I was pissed at first b/c I didn't want to wear one but once it's on, I can't tell it's there. It hasn't been a big…

Are you nursing or no?

I have a Polar F6 (?) I forget exactly but I got it at ****'s for $100 and worth every penny

I'm going to play the opposite team here and tell you it's not worth it. I went two different times and was told two different things at the same exact store. I have run in Saucony's for awhile and have no pain what-so=ever! I went to get fitted b/c I wanted to make sure I was in the best shoe. They recommended Brooks to…

Thank you!!! I know I had seen it before but couldn't find it!!! LOL!

Any of the meat/fish dishes with the salad (oil and vinegar dressing) and the veggies! Don't do any cream sauces--stick to red ones even though they are higher in sugar--
-
not sure about ones without a chest strap--maybe Garmin??? I have a Polar F6 and at first I was turned off by the strap but it's actually fine. I don't even notice it! and it was $100
-
I haven't found it to be that accurate with a lot of things. I got a Polar F6 watch to calculate my calories and when I compare it, sometimes it's like 100 calories different or more!
-
hmmmm, are you being honest with your food intake? I mean, every.single.bite needs to be charted. We are all guilty of forgetting that one little cookie or that one bite of this, that, etc. Also, I checked out your food diary and you seem to be eating a whole lot of empty calories, pre-packaged things----not trying to be…

Because if MFP sets you to eat 1200 calories---you would normally need 1700 to maintain your weight. They put you at 1200 to lose the pound a week. If you work out and burn say 300 calories you are in essence at 900 calories for the day which is not enough. You would need to eat the 300 to get back to 1200. Does this make…
-
you won't go into starvation mode with that little bit of calories BUT if you do it everyday, over a period of time, you will! AND, eating less calories will make you lose faster YES but you won't keep it off! You won't eat like that forever!
-
Definitely eat your calories!!! Especially if you are working out, you must eat them back. MFP has your calorie range set at a 500 calorie a day deficit which over the span of a week you would lose a lb. If you are working out and burning say 300 calories, it's dipping you too low, you have to eat them. You don't want to…
