Do I turn it off in MFP or in garmin?
-
I should add that when I do a real workout, I put on my HRM and track real activity that way. Would it be easier to have it not communicate with MFP and actually just input my burn that way??? I want it to be accurate.

It's the Garmin tracker app---

following: I am wondering the same thing! I thought I had mine synced but it doesn't appear that Vivofit adjusts in MFP?

Oh and some days, I would go to bed and be under my calorie range. super psyched. Then I'd wake up the next day and whammo---300 calories in the negative for that day. Super freaky!

I was not a fan of the Fitbit. Just returned it. I am one who also wanted to know what I burned in a day so I could see if my MFP was set properly. I found the fitbit synced with MFP to be so frustrating b/c it constantly changed my calories throughout the day. I do realize that the Fitbit is constantly working, therefore…

Funny you say that I must've been active today! I hadn't exercised all day until 7pm when I went out for a quick 1.5 mile run just to test the HRM and Fitbit together! I haven't a clue as to why it's giving me so many calories! So here's another one for ya----why does it give you calories and then take them away. What if I…

This is great, I'm in the market myself!

How about weighing an empty container to see how much that adds to the weight?
-
Maybe open up your diary and let us see what you're eating, etc???

I was up almost 3 lbs this week too and very bummed. That being said, I did track but I ate a couple of things that sent me over a few days. I know I need to make some more changes in that department but it was my first week back and trying to track. The things I went over on shouldn't have made me gain almost 3 lbs…

I like to have a bar here or there--mostly if I'm out and about and need to eat something so I don't binge on a drive-thru! I see a lot of people like to drink a ton of shakes (protein) I just can't imagine that it could be good for you to supplement with all protein shakes/bars in place of fruits/veggies/proteins. I could…

Ask for vinegar and oil dressings or anything that's a vinegar based dressing. Stay away from cream sauces. Most restaurants are really good at special orders. If there's a chicken dish with tons of sauce, ask for it to be just grilled with no butter! You kind of have to visualize what you want to eat and tailor the dish…

I am sitting here enjoying a green smoothie myself! 1/2 cup almond/vanilla milk, ice, 1 cup spinach and 1 tbsp natural peanut butter. I'm in love! I could add protein powder but I need to buy more!

I see a difference! Great job! I do not understand, however, why you ladies keep posting pics in your undies! :ohwell:

All conventional milk has a small percentage of puss and blood in it. Totally grosses me out!

Got it a year ago! Love it so far! I had some general cramping for about 2 months, then it got even easier as far as that goes. I haven't had an actual period at all! Some months I spot but mostly nothing. I did get breast tenderness which I never had before but that's even gotten easier. I did gain about 10 lbs but it's…

Well, what have you been doing? I see you aren't logging anything so how are you monitoring things? Depending on the calorie intake, you may not be eating enough! Good luck! I turned 40 today!

this should be a good read later, BUMP!

My now 3 1/2 year old stopped napping at 20 months!

This!

Most likely you are eating far more or far less than you think or need for the amount you are working out. Logging food sucks but it's the only way to know the real truth. I am finding that out the hard way myself. Good luck!!

I actually ran a full 8 miles and have never done that! Training for a half marathon and swore there was no way I could ever run past 6!
-
Do you have access to a treadmill or indoor track? Totally sucks but you can at least get your miles in!
