Try Skippy Natural---it's great!!
-
It takes an awful lot to gain muscle, at least according to Jillian Michaels. Open up your food diary and let us see if we can help pinpoint some trouble areas??!!
-
OK So what is an NSV?
-
Low carb worked great for me when I did it but I knew I couldn't maintain it. If you know you wont maintain it, no sense in starting!
-
Maybe open up your food diary so we can look and maybe find something for you??
-
Don't know much about this diet but calorie wise and your size---I'm gonna venture and say you should be eating more to lose more but that's just me! Have you tried playing around with that idea? Try eating more calories and see what happens??
-
Girl, I'm trying to find my groove again but when I'm on my game, I usually run and do spin classes for the majority of my cardio. I've gotten so out of my schedule that I don't even know where to begin anymore!
-
I would say buy a heart rate monitor so you can accurately log your calories, but if you don't want to do that..............maybe borrow one from a friend and see what you burn???
-
Look up Hal Higdon's marathon training program, he's got some good ones. You can follow his recommendations or you can extend the program as you need fit! Good luck!
-
I would recommend hitting up your local running store, if you have one, to get fitted properly.
-
Never heard of a Mirena coil. I've heard of plain ole Mirena!
-
Welcome back and good luck! My only suggestion for you is to buy a heart rate monitor that way you know EXACTLY what you are burning for your body. Polar is a great brand and you can get them in any of the sporting good stores or on Amazon! It's worth the $100 investment if you want to be serious about it!
-
HRM if it's set properly---with your stats!!!
-
For sure the HRM is more accurate. The machines don't have the chest straps that calculate it for your specific body/age, etc.
-
Sounds like MFP isn't for you! OR maybe you just need to not read people's posts and let it get to you so bad. You need to learn that people are always looking for the easy way out--nothing you can do about it! Don't let these people ruin your day!
-
YES! Especially since one apple has a ton of sugar!!!
-
I'm 5'6" and 153 and I normally burn about 350-375 calories in an hour doing that type of exercise. When i do spinning class, I burn 450-575 depending on the teacher . Hope that helps.
-
I don't believe it does it for you but I do believe it asks if you want to adjust them. Not 100% sure though.
-
Oh my gosh, I hear ya! I am normally a runner. I'm not a marathoner, but I like to run 3-5 miles at a time. I stopped that and joined my local gym. Have been spinning, doing body pump, Trek classes, Muscle Up, etc. Things I don't normally do. I gained 6.5 lbs in a month. No joke. I feel more fit but the weight is freaking…

Why do you want to retain it? Just curious.
-
Oh my, you eat 500 calories a day ??? Do you eat fruits or veggies? All I see tracked is KFC and granola bars!
-
You can bake them for sure. Try the Raspberry Pork Chops recipe on Allrecipes.com. Delish!
-
I'd love to know the answers too! I toy with the idea myself.
-
I'd love to not be hungry!!! I find the more I work out, the more ravenous I am! Totally sucks.
-
I have seen people on here not eat their exercise calories and they stop losing weight.

Depends on what your definition of "clean eating" is. You can refer to a blog I love called The Gracious Pantry or one called Emily Eats Clean. The second one hasn't been posting since January but she usually posted what she ate daily. So, you could go back and look at all of the old posts. Both of the blogs have a section…

Not possible to gain muscle that fast---scientifically wrong, unfortunately. I just talked to a trainer the other day about this and she said that if you are doing something you normally don't do or working certain muscles more than others----they can be swollen and retain water. She said to give it more time and it will…

Not sure how a HRM monitors your heart rate without a strap but I have to tell youI thought the very same thing when I found out that the Polar F6 had a strap. All of my friends had that watch and I wanted it. I was pissed they didn't tell me there was a strap. I have to say, it does not bother me. It goes right under my…

You can try not to eat them if you want to but you might find you will stop losing--your body will go into starvation mode! If you are allowed 1400 a day then MFP has already deducted 500 from what you would need to maintain which is evidently 1900. So if you don't eat them, then your intake for the day would be 700…

add some veggies to your dinner and maybe some fruit or go for a later snack with pb like all have said!
