I love olives. Black, green, any kind, it doesn't matter. I had to stop buying them because my 13 year old will eat the entire jar in 1 sitting. My 5 year old's favorite pizza is pepperoni and olives.. black AND green if they have them, only black if that's all that's available... also, if we have Subway, she gets a ham &…

I usually bake chicken (until it is BARELY done-it keeps it from drying out when I microwave it at work) and have it and steamable veggies for lunches throughout the week. I also batch cook for week nights because I am very busy. I cook spaghetti sauce and freeze it in small amounts that are about 1 meal's worth. When I…

I did WD 2012 in Louisiana, all I can say is REGISTER EARLY and get an EARLY wave! I had the last wave of the day, and the course was SLICK by the time afternoon rolled around. I ran the first half mile or so, and after that it was like ice-skating for the majority of the rest of the course (in Louisiana though, we went…

some great ideas in here! The only way I like boiled eggs is deviled!! I will have to try some of these suggestions!

I have looked through all 19 pages of this post, but not back to the previous (original) post... 10/26 This would have been easier broken up by months, lol

My son's your birthday twin, 1994 :flowerforyou:

I'm starting over Monday (the 7th)... I will weigh and adjust everything that day. I've gained like 10-ish pounds over the last year  I am doing a half marathon on Jan 20, and doing the SGK 3-day (60 mile) walk in July, so I have some goals...

we are in the LAST DAYS to make a tax-deductible donation for the year! If you are looking for a little extra tax break, go make a donation for my 3-day walk! www.tinyurl.com/stacyhamner3day cute game  and for real, I am doing the Susan G Komen 3 day next year, so.. there, that is my tinyurl to my donation page, lol

eh, it happens sometimes. Eating less than 1k isn't going to hurt if you only do it occasionally. If it was a daily / routine thing over a long time period, maybe it would bother you / your weight-loss efforts, though I think people around this site throw around "starvation mode" way to often, when in reality, starvation…

some of the steam fresh ones come pre-seasoned. I really love the asian veggies. Jody really likes the broccoli w/ cheese sauce and the broccoli / cauliflower w/ cheese sauce. I usually prefer veggies lightly steamed with salt, but, I realize that I am in the minority with that. Treat yourself like a baby... try one new…

Aww, this is awesome! I met my BF here, on MFP

I say no. I have 4, 2 of them I would have removed, I like the third one, am indifferent to the 4th. If you are asking, the answer is no. If I could go back, I probably would not get any at all.

I am in Denham Springs! There is a Louisiana group on here -- not very active, but it does exist!

My BF and I go out to eat once a weekend, usually for Mexican or a Chinese buffet or.. somewhere. Just depends on how we feel. Usually on those days, we call it a "cheat day", but really, we usually do very good / very low calorie days, and just have a big dinner. We both have been miserable from overeating before, I like…

I have a non-hormonal IUD. It is good for 10 years. I have actually had one previously as well, for 6 years. I had it removed when I wanted to get pregnant with my now 4-y/o daughter, and a new one put in after she was born. I have had no issue with it what-so-ever. Best birth control I have ever used....

Usually around $80 a week. Now that school is back in session for the kids, it will go down. It is me, and my 2 girls one is 12, the other is 4. This also includes paper towels, toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo, etc.. It is just my typical Walmart bill. I am in Louisiana.

I would respect my SO's wishes. I am a bear when I am pregnant, he would have to deal with me. I would never intentionally do something that I knew he was against. Either he agrees, we compromise, or it won't happen. Surrogacy definitely affects the hubby as well, not just the pregnant one...

a cup of coffee has between 2-5 calories. I am just not seeing how that is a 'waste' of good calories... even with a tsp of sugar it is only about 20 calories...

what time you eat doesn't matter. AND, it takes more than 1 meal, more than 1 day for your body to go into "starvation mode". I get so tired of everyone throwing that around all the time. One day being under calories isn't going to hurt you. Heck 2 out of 7 days a week being under 1200 won't hurt you. Starvation Mode is…

sometimes I have coffee for breakfast. MOST times I have coffee, high-fiber oatmeal and sausage... but, sometimes I am just not hungry in the morning (today is a perfect example. TOM's presence makes me nauseated and not want to eat). I tend to have a "not my business" attitude (mostly) about what other people choose to…

^^ This is SO me. ^ my BF is as bad, if not worse, than I am!

YES!! and your socks .. and the 15 different tan lines on your shoulders from your tank tops, singlets, and sports bra straps, and the 4 different tan lines on your thighs from different lengths of running shorts!

^ this. I met my BF of almost a year and a half on here. We commented on some of the same threads, started emailing, became "friends", then facebook friends, etc. it just progressed. One of these days I will convince him to marry me. We talk about it, he just isn't ready yet. ETA: It was lucky that we only live about 17…

I am left-handed. The only lefty in my family. I didn't even get a left-handed kid! My BF is also left-handed. Just a cute coincidence

My waist is 30 inches and I definitely could stand to lose a few more from it. I am 5'5"

I would totally do chicken noodle soup. Whole wheat pasta isn't that bad, IMO. Chicken salad Shredded chicken + rotel stewed together = great taco / burrito meat shred it up and use it on sandwiches / wraps as is make chicken & veggie pizza

This is what I think as definition, too. Definitely prefer to be wanted. BF survived for 39 years before we met. He keeps me around because he enjoys my company and *wants* us to be together. Definitely a nice feeling
