Welcome to the mud run world! They are addictive, but a great community of people. I am about to do a super and sprint back to back days. I might die. Haha. Hills and burpies are a must. Burpie yourself to death. Also, Spartan does free workout training events. Keep an eye out and see if one comes up in your area. The…

I just record it in a composition notebook. Those black and white ones you used in school that were about a buck. Works great for me.

Go to a running store. What works for one person might not work for you. A good running store will watch you walk and also measure to see how your weight is distributed on your feet and see what your arch is like and whatnot. A good running store will also have a decent return policy so you can test the shoes out. Good…

Thank you. I shall investigate.

Eh. Christmasy enough for me
-
It is about a man who goes through great lengths for his family on Christmas. Like walk barefoot on glass. That is a Christmas movie. Die Hard and Gremlins for me. I'm a sucker for Love Actually and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang too

My gym is closed, but I am planning on going for a run that morning.

Go back to bed. Wake me up when it is a unicorn or the TARDIS

We get a gift card to Macy's.... Which I bought a Kitchenaid standup mixer with this year. It is the sexy thing I have ever owned. I love it

Eh. I don't agree with what he said, but he had every right to say it. But A&E had every right to what actions they took as well. Meh. I am more concerned with how many people are bringing up the First Amendment who clearly have never actually read it.

I had a PR in squats last night! I'm still weak, but 10 extra pounds is still cause for celebration! Also when I went to the gym last night there was only a single man in the weights section.... the rest were women. Six of us total. All the other women seemed so confident and strong going about their work outs and owning…

Oh these kill me. I can do 10 pounds in each hand no problem, but the next weight up is 15 and I'm dying, panting and praying to do like 4. Haha.

Second and third one.... I am Legend and I am Number Four?
-
I'm on my second and love it. Best birth control ever. For me at least. No side effects except no period. But that's just me. I would talk to yout doctor. That's the only person who knows your medical history and can give you an educated answer realistically.

My mom and my aunt both loved it. They felt it was a great support system and made working out fun and accessible. If Curves will make you work out go for it! Give it a try. Most people I know who have done it (my mom included) out grew it within a year or so though. So I think Curves would work great for you, just depends…

Work gives us a gift card to Macys for Christmas and my boss makes sure I get it by Black Friday. That paid for a little more than half. Otherwise I couldn't have afforded mine. But my oh my. It is amazing!!!!

I have a very mild case of Cerebral Palsy. So I was never strong and was always weak. I always thought I was going to be weak. Weights was something I never considered. Fitness in general was something that wasn't for me. I couldn't do it. I have CP and low tone. So the first time I did weights I was ridiculously weak. I…

I am doing the bridge as well! I already started it, but had to stop due to some life events for a month and just started again this week. Man I got out of shape that month!
-
Already bought it for myself on Black Friday. A standup mixer from Kitchenaid. Worth every single penny.

This is what I was going to say. Try the library

Total Dinsey nerd. I live in So Cal, so I favor Disneyland over Disney World. I'm hoping I can run a half at Disneyland sometime soon. But they are so dang $$$.

Mostly extra virgin olive oil. Organic butter occasionally. A bit of coconut oil. I try and avoid that one and only use it for stir fries. Too much of that stuff and I'm sick and miserable and useless for the rest of the day. That stuff is evil.

Fellow shortie here! 5'.

There is a bit of a difference between a screaming child and a grown adult who understands how to behave in an office workplace. Either way, visitors aren't allowed in our office. So friends, family and children are all unwelcome inside my office. My work expects is to work while here. Not visit with or babysit children.

I will be doing my first half in March and ideally my first full sometime in 2014.

I have New Rules on my Kindle. I take my Fire with me to the gym. Comes in handy. I can look at my workout and have an app to log what weights I do.

My bed is on risers and is so high and I was so sore I couldn't get into bed last night. I almost had to sleep on the couch. Lol. I really really really dislike lunges. But otherwise I did good. Hopefully those will get easier

I don't think it has anything to do with being accustomed to being around children and everything to do with having a work ethic and manners. I am at work to work. I am getting paid to work not babysit.

All those buff women you're intimidated by had to start somewhere. But congrats on starting and I hope you feel more confident andccomfortable in the gym as time progresses. :-)

So after a death in the family, a dog attack, sickness from rabies treatment from attack and a move I am finally lifting again! I'm doing stage 1 workout b tonight and am so nervous. I'm still sore from lifting Monday and feel so week from my time off
