Indeed. I will ask questions in the future post morning coffee Although I wouldn't exactly label either a machine.

haha. I'm slow, so I'm not much of a racer anyways. I like to label myself a party pacer. I think that it would be an awesome and amazing experience. Rent a van or a camper pile a group of people in it and take turns running and cheering each other on.

I think I want to start small with a Ragnar. But I think an event where you run from coast to coast on a relay team would be an amazing experience.

I hate cows milk. Even as a kid thought it was gross. So for me the best milk is Almond milk since I will actually drink it. I love the coconut almond blend too. But even then those are drank rarely. I'm a water girl.

I think people have less issue with the products themselves as they do the annoying and overly aggressive sales pitches. I won't use Beach Body, Advocare or Herbalife. And one of the primary reason's being the people who represent it.

I can't run for more than 5 minutes on a treadmill.... but me outside and I am good though. I like running. I am slow as a turtle. But I enjoy it. But it isn't for everyone. Personally I HATE yoga and home workout videos. But a lot of people swear by each. Different strokes, different people

I stick with Whey.

I buy workouts on Groupon. Like kayaking, or acrobat classes. Or I reward my hard work with registering for runs. Keeps me motivated and happy

Hiking is good for the soul.

Ideally I would find your TDEE and eat 20% less than that. However if you are going to be following the MFP suggestion of 1200, keep in mind that it a base number to each before working out. The deficit is already built it, so you should be eating all your workout calories back as well. Eating just 1200 is way way way too…

I would look into your diet. You might not be fueling your body enough.
-
Do whatever works for you and you will actually do. For me that happens to be the gym, but for you it might be something else..

As a woman is it almost impossible to become bulky (without juicing) Furthermore it would require a surplus of calories.

I was at that Sprint too. See you at the Beast! Aroo.

I don't like the feeling of things between my toes. Took me years to get used to flip flops. So they aren't for me, but I have heard of a lot of people using them to lift. Makes sense. I would love to lift barefoot or close enough to it. At the gym I use Reebock Crossfit Nanos and must say that after owning them under a…

Those are terribly inaccurate. My advice is keep in mind muscle builds SLOW and especially when first starting out you might gain some water retention weight. But lifting weights is an awesome decision on your part and one that is going to make your body look amazing as well as healthier.

Moving Comfort Fiona all the way.

I have to say I have more than a few times been next to a guy doing the same lift as me but 10x the weight I was. Even then I never felt judged. If we made eye contact we would smile briefly then go back to our own lifting and grunting.

I was recently told by a man I was talking to at Starbucks that I shouldn't do squats because they will make me look like a man. I have had tonnes of fitness instructors when I used to take classes tell me that I needed to lift lite and do high reps so I won't get bulky. There is just so much information out there when it…

None. Sit ups seem kinda pointless to be honest.

C25K is a great suggestion. Otherwise, honestly, just have fun. Mud runs in general foster an amazing and encouraging community. This isn't a timed event so don't worry about how fast you are. These are fun runs and not OCRs. I did one of these a while ago and the obstacles are not set up for people to fail, but to just…

Just bag check. But TM is so expensive that I need the discount. Lol

No, but I have been considering it.

I saw pictures they posted of the flooding. Looks like it will be interesting. Wish I could be there.

Which California Beast? Monterey or Temecula?

There are a lot of great programs out there that can help you get to your goals. Starting Strength and Strong Lifts are both popular and amazing programs. There is also a boom called New Rules of Lifting for Women. Even if you don't follow the program in it, I thought the book was a good read.

Burpees are evil, evil things.

I have all tattoos that baring a bikini are all easily covered. My work now has adress code prohibiting visible tattoos, but they are not very strict in enforcing it. With the job market and economy where it is, I am also not going to tattoo myself anywhere that could potentially hinder my employment opportunities.

I am volunr for a TM in two weeks so I can get a cheaper TM when I do one later this year in November. I'm honestly more intimidated of getting my Spartan Trifecae then I am a TM right now. Those burpees are evil.
