I know it's tough for you guys, but sometimes people use metaphors. The gov't classifies pizza as a "vegetable" because of the tomato sauce, and Wendy called pizza a "nutritionally complete meal" - which is equally laughable. That was the allusion being made. Relax.

you win. No idea why people think egg yolks are bad for you. In fact, you get much fewer nutrients out of the egg white alone than you do if you ingest the white and yolk together. So all that protein you THINK you're getting out of the whites isn't actually getting absorbed. Eat your yolks.

there is no right or wrong with "clean" eating. do what works for you - simple as that. To be honest though, there's no benefit to eating egg whites without the yolk, as the proteins in the white are made to break down and be absorbed with the fat of the yolk, and without that yolk, your body doesn't assimilate the whites…

My god I'm so happy I found this comment! You don't know how many times I've wanted to say this about an "IIFYM" person or a Ketosis person - especially the keto folks. I don't think I've ever seen someone in Ketosis actually get thin.
