Awesome progress!

another vote for Yurbuds...they also come in smaller sizes and they stay in place when you're running.

36GG here and I wear Freya Active Underwire. $60 a pop, but no bounce at all...and I run!

Read her profile.

I put my fruits and vegetables in a separate "meal" category (at the bottom), and then just subtract the natural sugars from the added sugars (basically, everything else...though I know there are some natural sugars in dairy and such) and keep track of my added sugar number.

Fit deck! Body weight exercises...also available as an app.

I do both. Zumba is fun, and spinning is low impact and you can modify if you need to make it not as hard. I burn roughly 600-700/class in both, so no difference there. Try both, and keep doing what you like!

I love reading your success stories! You are such an inspiration, Joy!

I swear by Freya Maximum Control. I wear a 34GG, and seriously, they do not bounce at all (running, spinning, zumba, biking). They are about $60 a pop, but so worth it to have great support.

Hooray for you! When's the race? :-)

If there was a magic pill, very few people would still be obese.

My boyfriend hasn't said anything about my weight loss or exercising. Not sure if he hasn't noticed, or if he thinks it better to keep his mouth shut. He's good with compliments, but always has been...maybe he's just clueless?

I did W1D3 yesterday...and signed up for my first race in September! I'm addicted. I am LOOKING FORWARD to running again!
-
holy smokes! what a story. You look phenomenal.

THIS.

Planning W1D3 today, and so looking forward to it! I rested yesterday, but it was such a nice day out--I wanted to run! (Leisurely bike ride around the neighborhood instead).
-
I started Saturday. Nice run in the neighborhood for D1, and at a nature preserve for D2. Running with my second grader, and I'm having so much fun. Plus, my new shoes are awesome. Let's do it!

We started at the same time...but man, I have not been as disciplined or dedicated to the gym as you have been, my friend! You have made amazing progress...congratulations!!!!
-
You have made an amazing transformation! Awesome.

I also have a Fitbit One and a Polar (different model), and I agree with my pal Omma that if you're only going to get one, the Polar is the best choice. Fitbit is great if you're sedentary, and just need motivation to move more, or if walking is your main exercise. If you do a lot of other stuff, the Polar is more…

you look phenomenal! way to go!

One of my favorite quotes: "There is no magic pill. If there was, I'd have it." --Oprah Winfrey You don't need to buy anything. You need to FIND your motivation. And, as my photo says...the secret is to KEEP GOING.

You look awesome!
-
My goodness! That is some serious progress, friend!

This.

I hate that upper thigh one!

If you don't have pre-diabetes/metabolic syndrome/PCOS or some other form of insulin resistance, then just count total carbs. If you do, then you have to be more careful--and you might want to talk to a physician about how much sugar is recommended. I have PCOS, and so I need to balance my carbs with protein to prevent…

You look younger! Awesome!

MFP counts your BMR (the cals needed to keep your body alive), the cals needed to digest your food, plus some activity (depending on what you set it at). My BMR (had it tested in a lab) is around 1600, or 1.1 cal/minute. That's if I did nothing at all. Your 89-140 estimate for sitting includes BMR plus digestion--and isn't…

Single mom who works 50-60 hours/week here. No dad in the picture, or family nearby. Here's my advice: Tell the whole family that you want to make your body healthier, and that means there may be changes in what you will eat, what kinds of foods you can have around the house, and changes in what you will do--and that you…
