Trust me, I understand! The good thing about being short is that even 5 pounds of a loss shows so that can be pretty motivating. Of course, it shows just as much in the wrong direction too, which stinks. I'm not losing very quickly either but I'm trying to just keep at it and stay motivated.

We are just about the same size. :) Not that our builds are the same (idk) but I am the same height and almost the exact same weight. I know what you mean. I don't consider myself fat, though at this size am still technically in the overweight category as far as the BMI goes. I will be honest - I go back and forth. I want…

Just want to ditto the cranberry juice or pills suggestion. Just make sure if you do cranberry juice it is the pure cranberry stuff, not the cranberry cocktail or some mix of cranberry. Personally, I'd opt for the pills. That all sounds horrible, what an ordeal! I would definitely rest as much as you can at least for the…

The biggest thing for me is to not have things in the house that would tempt me. I am better now, it's not as hard to resist temptation but when I was first starting I just couldn't have it in the house. I have great willpower at the grocery store but if there was anything in the house I had NO willpower. So, my suggestion…

This is a hard one to answer because it can vary greatly depending on the person. My mom had 3 kids practically back to back - 14 months between each one. She has beautiful skin - no stretch marks - her stomach went right back afterwards. My older sister got terrible stretch marks during pregnancy and her skin was more…

That wasn't the point of the post. They said there was nothing wrong with keeping your diary private. But when someone posts asking for help but won't open their diary it is sort of a useless post. People eat so differently so just saying that they aren't losing is kind of vague. Opening up their diary gives people a way…

Just finished L1D2. Definitely tougher than last night. Hoping I can stick with it this time. :)

Just finished day 2 of level 1. Definitely harder than yesterday but I did do one workout last night and one this morning so not much time in between. We can do this!!! So far I've made a big protein shake (1 scoop chocolate protein, 1 cup FF milk, 1 banana and LOTS of ice) and I drink half before I do this and half after…

I have a pretty small living room and it is just fine. I would sit down and watch it before doing it to get an idea of what you will be doing and how much space you will need but you should be fine. :)

I would try to sell the ticket.

I did! I've done it before but never stuck with it for as long as I'd like. Hoping to have more dedication this time. :)

I'll be blunt. I definitely think your boobs are throwing it off. It never really takes that into consideration and I definitely think that would throw it off. With the other information you gave, I really wouldn't worry about it. Especially having a 3 month old - you are doing fantastic!

My go to things for this type of situation are avocados, peanut butter, nuts, etc. It just depends on what you are eating. If I do a sandwich for lunch but I'm needing more calories I'll make sure to have cheese on it and avocado. If I don't have enough calories I just do a lot of lettuce, and some meat. What types of…

As far as eating and exercising, I consider my day from when I get up until I go to bed. So, even if it were after midnight I'd still log it for the previous day. I don't think there's a right answer, just whatever you prefer. I feel like it all kind of evens out through the week anyway so I don't think it matters all that…

Well, I planned on starting yesterday but it just got to be too late. I almost didn't do it tonight because of a headache. But I took some ibuprofen and as soon as I felt better I did level 1! I still love this workout. Actually, I hate level 2 and tend to only spend a couple days on it before going to level 3 but I am…

ITA about the side lunges and arm raises. Those get me every time!!!

I'll bite. I've been putting it off but I just need to get back into it. I'm going to take before pics this time. I don't think I am going to do 30 days straight though. I'm shooting for 4-5 days a week but we'll see how I do. :) My stats: 31 years old 5'4" 148 My goal weight is 130. I've done the 30DS before and love it…

What a great transformation! You look fantastic. Great work.

I don't have a ton of advice but I would lower your expectation of how much you are wanting to lose each week. If you only have 10 pounds to lose there isn't a big chance that you will lose 2 pounds a week. How tall are you? What is your starting weight? You might need more calories than what you are eating - I don't seem…

IL that my 4 year old tells me I'm beautiful every day. (Although recently he's changed it up to "you're beautiful...with your makeup on." Little stinker.) IL that my 6 year old loves to come exercise with me and will be my walking/C25K partner. IL that my husband is super supportive of our healthier and more active…

I have been doing much better lately but it is a lot harder the later I stay up. One thing I do is I have some bleach trays from the dentist that I put in at night when I'm watching TV. I can't eat while they are in and I leave them in for about an hour so that keeps me from eating. If I don't do that I definitely make…

Thanks for sharing that - I love seeing people's before and after pictures and their success stories. But I am a little peeved that they highlighted someone who lost weight by doing a diet of "no fat" and "no carbs' for what appears to be almost a year. Doesn't seem very healthy.

Upper body boxing type of moves would be good. Variations on punches and combos as well as some upper body strength exercises should be good. Also, could you swim or would that hurt too much?

How long have you been stuck? I'm wondering if it is truly a plateau. I think the zig zag plan might be good for breaking through the plateau. I know my SIL had a program set up by someone she was seeing where her calories were zig zagged each week and that helped continue her weight loss. Good luck!

My sister and mom both have them and love them. Just a tip - if you can wait until Kohl's has their coupons out you can get them there for 70% off with their 30% off coupon.

I agree with another poster that said you will get used to it. I drink anywhere from 70-100 ounces of water per day (depending on exercise) and my body has become accustomed to it. For now, I would try to have a cut off time at night to stop drinking but I do think if you give it time it will work out.

Not that this isn't a good idea - keeping it under 2000 is pretty difficult - especially when you are a guy and have quite a bit more calories that you need to consume.
-
3 days does not = a plateau. I wouldn't stress about it. I would just weigh in once a week and not worry about it being a plateau until it's been 2-3 (weekly) weigh ins where the scale isn't moving. I also wouldn't suggest upping your exercise as it sounds like you are already doing quite a bit of exercising. Looking at…

I think your activity level is different from your workout goals and the calories are based off of the activity level but not the anticipated workouts. So, don't include your workouts in your activity level - that is general - I think it gives examples of different kinds of jobs to help you pick activity level. Then you…

With your transformation, are you sure she realized who you were???
