  • B'fast is my smallest, too. I've tried to start the day big and end small, as all the advice recommends, but I can't seem to change. I am still losing weight despite this.
  • Don't worry. This is classic. I once read somewhere that everybody notices when someone grows a beard or moustache, but no one notices when it is shaved off.
  • I am very fortunate to be living in Hong Kong where the local people tell it like it is with no punches pulled. After I'd lost about 9 lbs, I was told my face looked thinner [thin is not regarded as good here]. After 14 lbs, someone I hadn't seen recently cried out, "Wow, you've lost weight! But I am 70 years old and suspect I do not burn at the rate of the 20-somethings I see jogging around. The problem with the MFP calculations is not…
  • I agree 100 per cent with this. Sometimes I struggle to get to 1200 calories. I've been stuck at 133 lbs for the past 3 weeks, so really hope I'll get a sudden drop like yours.

  • Thanks psulemon. I have been exercising in an attempt to save muscles. Oh, well, I see that perhaps I should at least eat some of them back. I am just impatient to lose weight and feel that if I eat them back, losing will take longer.
  • I've been on MFP for a couple of weeks now and have never eaten them back. Must admit, though, I am a bit worried about it. I am losing just under 2 lbs a week. Is there anyone else who has never - or seldom - eaten them back? Are you still alive?
