What kind of workouts do you do? I'm no expert but if you're doing cardio, you should consider strength training instead. Although cardio is great for your heart and can help increase your daily calorie expenditure, strength training builds muscle - and the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be which…

I don't count calories when I work out or else I won't enjoy it. I do whatever workout is scheduled for that day - usually weight training, go my hardest and heaviest and leave. Usually about 45min-1hour from start of lifting to end of lifting (depending on how long I spend standing there deciding which song to put on next…

I think you need a more balanced diet that gives you enough food to be satisfied whilst still remaining in a calorie deficit. Calculate your recommended daily intake for weight loss based on your age, height, weight and activity level (there are many online calculators which can do this for you - I recommend IIFYM.com) and…

Height - 5"9 Highest weight: 95kg (209lbs) Lowest weight: 73.5kg (162lbs) Current weight: 75kg (165lbs) Goal weight: 60-65kg Not too unhappy with my current state especially compared to how I was when I started, but would definitely still like to get a little bit leaner.

Trust me, it's about consistency over a LONG period of time. Not every day or week needs to be perfect. I had a cheat 2 weeks last month with little to no exercise and eating close to 3000 calories a day. If you just keep going it'll balance out in the long run, I promise you that!

I don't believe in fat shaming and I really do admire people who are larger and have the same confidence and happiness as somebody who's had to work harder for it. Personally when I was extremely overweight I didn't enjoy life as much, I was always insecure, had low confidence, highly emotional but since I've started…

Feeling more confident and happier Not as self conscious when meeting new people Confidence in my relationship, less insecure Setting little goals gives me something to focus on and work towards Might I just add I was in the exact same position as you, could never ever stick to a diet and looking back now the reason was…

The problem with being in a calorie deficit for too long is that it can negatively impact your metabolism. Because your body is used to such low calories, it learns to survive on ONLY 1200 calories. I would recommend a carb refeed day, or even a few days before you go back to cutting calories. Do some research on it, I…

Bingeing is definitely a problem for me too, it always has been. I feel out of control at times. 20kg down and I still struggle with it. The only way to control it is too really really force yourself to not give in. Think of the horrible feelings you feel after a binge. Think of how amazing you'll feel in the morning if…

This happens to me too! I think a lot of factors come into it... Sleep is a big one, so is food intake (when I've had a lot of carbs my workouts are always more intense), also my general mood on the day I find is a big one. If I've had a long, tiring, stressful day at work and I get to the gym in a dull mood my motivation…

Yes - if it fits your macros it's good to go! Sometimes I'll be busy during the day and won't eat much and then I can have ice cream and chips at night lol. Still losing weight :-) Just as long as you're tracking it all accurately!

Definitely go by grams instead of percentages. To increase protein and decrease fat, here's my suggestions - Breakfast - make an egg white omelette using 4 egg whites, spinach and mushroom. Morning snack can be low fat Greek yoghurt (I'd suggest Chobani). Cut down on the PB (I know it's hard!!!) Weigh your chicken and make…

Put it in a blender with 250ml skim milk, a few ice and can even add in a banana! It does raise the carb content but totally worth it. Makes it cold and sweet and thick :-)

The good thing is you're not alone!!! I think everybody struggles with the long term commitment to some extent. It's not easy to change your life for good - otherwise everybody would be doing it! I always struggled with staying motivated. Over the course of 5 years my weight fluctuated up and down, couldn't stick to…

I'm totally in! I only started my diet and signed up yesterday and New Years is in like 5 weeks so I'm not sure whether it'd be healthy to lose so much weight that fast, but I'll try my best! Definitely in! :)
