I swear I have no clue where they even came from .... but, honestly, I'm looking at my measurements more than my weight right now. I don't know if I'd call it secret...but, it's definitely a motivator for me. I've always wanted a hot set of boudoir photos done...and that's exactly what I plan to do when I lose these extra lbs!!!

Yep, I totally agree. It's part of the reason why my 4 year Long Distance Relationship is still going on! LOL I picked up once in my life to be with someone and I won't call it a mistake because I have my sons out of it...but, it wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. If it's meant to be...it's meant to be....and will…

I have been in a long-distance relationship with my middle school sweetheart for the past 4 years (4 years this February). When we saw each other for the first time in 20-odd years it was as if time had stood still. He even said, "It feels like we've been dating for months and just haven't seen each other for a few weeks."…

Lead X-ray Technologist in a hospital. Prior to that, I was a tech in a Level One trauma center for 12 years.

Purple potatoes are low on the glycemic index. Purple potatoes are very similar to the popular Russet potatoes in nutritional value. One-half cup of purple potatoes contains 70 calories, 15 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 2 grams of protein and no fat. One-half cup of Russet potatoes contains 66 calories, 16 grams…

I know exactly what you mean!!! Exercise is supposed to make people release endorphines, not backlashings!! :noway: But, you know what they say about opinions....Anyhoo, I think sometimes there's a lot of tension amongst the rankings here and you need to develop a bit of a thick skin. However, on the flipside...it seems…

I am guilty of the same...however, for me it took me catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror...naked. Yeah...I was so not happy. I was thinking, "Who IS that girl?!?' I actually teared up a little because I had let myself get that way... That's what pushed me over the edge to come back here and to get back in the gym!!!

Ben & Jerry's - Coffee Heathbar Crunch! I am still beside myself that they retired From Russia with Buzz!!!

1200 is def low for a caloric intake when lifting!! You want to make sure you're getting plenty of protein. You're body is breaking down and manufacturing muscle. Plus, the protein will help you to feel fuller longer. I normally make a protein shake within 30 minutes of my work out!

I'm in FL right now...and I hate it here. I miss NJ terribly and would never turn down going back home. But, if I could live anywhere it would be San Diego or Hawaii!!! Of course, Bora Bora isn't a bad option either!!!

All depends on your schedule. I can only hit the gym 3 days a week...so I do a full-body workout. It goes like this: *5 minute cardio warm-up (treadmill or elliptical) *50 minutes of weights *20 minutes of low-impact cardio You'll find lots of different methods though!! The key is finding what works for you!!

42 years but my mind still thinks I'm 24!!! LOL (I wish I knew then what I know now!!) :) Feel free to add me!

Lead Radiology Tech at a hospital. I worked in a level one trauma center for over a decade before moving to my current position. I loved working in trauma and trauma orthopedics. Love my career.

That would be nice!!

I live in a nice community and we have a great, full-size gym that we go to for free (with our annual dues). It's clean, well-kept and everyone there is really nice. My only gripe? The high school set who work out there. Now, the boys are really nice and have never been disrespectful. But, they are teenage boys. They…

My ultimate goal is Boudoir photos, for sure. It's one of my greatest motivators. I really want to do this for my boyfriend, but more importantly, for myself. My friend had some done by this company and they are A-MAZING!! I can't wait to treat myself one day in the not-so-distant future!!! www.BadGirlBoudoir.com

A combination of things, really. When I was in my 20's - my first husband turned to me out of the blue one day and said, "If we have kids one day, you'd better lose all the weight afterward because I won't be married to a fat girl. I've seen your parents, you have potential." Now, no matter how much of an *kitten* he was…

Personally, I was TERRIFIED to get back into the gym. I was afraid of the machines, the weights, being looked at critically - the whole nine yards. However - with the help of some great folks here - I got over myself (lol) and got up the nerve to go. It was well worth it. Before long, you become a regular face around there…

I set my Radio.com station to "80's Rock" and work out to some great hair bands!! I had a rockin' body back then and it's my motivation to get it back!! LOL
