Thanks for responding! I've heard only good things about lidl and aldi, unfortunately there isn't one in my town. Apparently they do reasonably priced nuts/seeds etc. maybe ill take a trip there some time! I eat quite a lot of quinoa, usually instead of rice - it is yummy! I read a lot of (US) users eat cottage cheese as a…

Me too! Also 5'8 :)

Yea I agree. I used to weigh in and log it every day. It was so demotivating and my weightloss chart just showed so many peaks and troughs. I'm on my second week of weighing once a week and now hoping that the chart will just go steadily downwards. Plus I'm less stressed out about my weight - by weighing every day it was…

Hey! I'm 5'8", female, 146lbs and a UK size 12. I want to get to either 133lbs (9 and half stone) or a size 10, whichever comes first!!

I had never thought of the possibility of cottage cheese being a sweet option! So I am bumping this for all the yummy ideas! (Cottage cheese is way cheaper than Greek yogurt so if I can use it for dessert then I am happy!)

Yes it works!! Thank you! I guess my NSV this week came out of a massive fail - I had a huge binge on Friday (I'm talking 3000+ cals) and so because of this I went to the gym on Saturday prepared to kill it and I did!! I managed 60 min body pump class, I did c25k week 3 days 1 AND 2, 15 mins on the cross trainer and 10 on…

Does anyone know if there is a uk alternative?? And actually will it still work using just normal cake mix? I guess from reading the other posts it wouldn't be low fat/fat free or low calls etc but will it still work?? Thanks!!

Thank you so much for the time and effort you're putting in!! Unfortunately it still isn't letting me input anything... :(

I've got these in the oven right now! I used: 1 banana (150g) mashed 40g porridge oats 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon Splenda I've made mine into 5 cookies and worked them out to be 65 cals each. Hope they taste good too!! Edit: ok I just had one.... They're ok... Taste quite banana-y.…

Haha, I too do a 45 min kettlebell class, in fact mine is tonight. I'm fairly new to it so I use 8kg (4kg for some of the arm ones - unfortunately there is no 6kg that would be more suitable!) we do warm up then 3 sets of 4 different exercises. We usually do each exercise for a minute then we have to do, say, 12 reps of…

Unfortunately you can probably google anything and come up with some kind of evidence (or 'evidence') to support it. I'm agreat believer in using diet to address a number of ailments but you have to be so careful with what you read online. If you are suffering from depression you should really see a professional...

Hey! I can't seem to update my details... I am using my phone so don't know if that is the problem but it won't let me click and change any cells? Thanks, Carly

Oh I'm also going to start measuring as well because my weight has been so up and down recently that it's becoming a bit if a demotivator :(

Happy Friday everyone!! I am going back to weighing just once a week on a Friday as my weight has been up an down all week. So my Friday weight I'm counting as my 'official' weight. Anyway: Sw: 148.25 Cw: 147 So 1.25lb loss :) Have a great weekend everyone !!

Yes!! This!! The worst for me is 'you've done well, but obviously you're not losing anymore are you because you'll look horrible' :/

^^ this. In the uk food banks are desperate for good, non perishable food at the moment. I'm sure it's the case in other places as well. Please do not just throw it out!!!

This is really interesting for me! I am 23 yrs old 5'7.5" Highest weight: 161lbs Current weight: 146lbs Goal weight: 133lbs I have no idea if my goal weight is suitable for me. I want to be a uk size 10 and work on toning and strength. I've never been below 153lbs before so this is all new territory for me. I get so…

Lentil bolognase! (No measurements I'm afraid, all done by sight/intuition/feel/whatever) Onion (sautee in pan with bit of oil - red or white) Carrot Celery Butternut squash Tin chopped toms Veg stock Tom purée Few herbs Red split lentils Just whack it all in a pan and cook until veg is soft and lentils cooked through. Can…

Nope. But what I found is using up calories with alcohol rather than food your priorities change. Either that or you (ahem, I) continuously go over your cals every weekend, ruin your weeks hard work, and then your priorities change! I happily drink still, and usually include it in my days cals. And when I don't I bare the…

Hey all! I don't have any baby weight to shift but I am trying to lose that last 14-17lbs. I'm currently 146lbs and want to get down to 130-133lbs Add me if you like :)

Honey I'm not sure you should be looking for anorexic friends, as the post above says and I'm sure you know, it is an illness associated with often horrifyingly raw emotions that may be triggering to your own problems. If I were you I would look on this site for people generally trying to gain weight without the added…

Heya, I always had (and often still have) the same problem - once I'm out of my work day routine I lose the plot. Unfortunately there's no answer you just have to damn well STICK TO YOUR CALORIES.!! For me it's booze that usually does it so Ill allow myself say 2 glasses of wine and work it into my cals. Or alternatively…

Honestly so many people say you should, so many people don't. I don't know what to do either so I (not saying I'm right, this is just my preference) set my cal target a little lower and then eat back my exercise cals. So on an average day I might eat 1500 cals and net 1300 for example. So I am not netting too low and I'm…

Hey! I have been veggie for 10 years now an I'm obsessed with getting enough protein!! Some quick and simple day to day 'go to' foods that I always have are: Quorn (sausages, mince, pieces, slices) Fat free cheese spread Marinated tofu pieces (Cauldron is the brand I buy) Cottage cheese I don't know where you're based and…
