  • try club soda with a lime --- I enjoy the bubbles but don't need the calories of regular soda and after having given up diet soda, this gives me the bubble fix I need. Mix it up instead of lime, try an orange. Good luck
  • You might want to get a trainer - they can customize a workout for you to do, taking your knees into consideration and your overall goals. I pay $45 per hour and it is worth every penny.

  • Go for it. In addition to layers, depending on the time of day you are running, pick a bright color so the cars can see you (I wear yellow) and wear a reflective vest. You are doing this for you and for no one else. when I do my long runs on sunday it is basically my time for me - then i get back to the rat race.
