  • The Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies, though honestly I'm convinced it's because they changed something, and not that my palate has changed, since I still love pretty much everything I had before.
  • I'm a 27.5'' waisted, 37'' hipped gal, and I own and wear everything from a 4 to a 16, there is no balm in Gilead, I'm sad to say.
  • It's just caffeinated drink mix. I don't even mean that as a criticism, I had some as samples and they were fine--I don't know how much those cost, but you can get zipfizz which has a bunch of caffeine in it, for like 20 bucks for 20 packets on Amazon. Edited to add: I have a few of the rockstar lemonade/tea cans at work…
  • If you can't, someone forgot to tell my body--I lost 70+ pounds drinking a few whiskeys a week.
  • I'm 5'3'' and my range is 132-127 and I'm moving into maintenance. I know many MFPers would rather get to like 115 or whatever but ehhh, I'm happy the way I am and I'm not trying to be a model or anything--I'm healthy and I can maintain at this weight without it turning into an obsession pretty easily. The only person who…
  • ALL OF THEM. I love donuts so much, easily my fav indulgence. We have a bakery here called log cabin bakery that makes a pershing donut with chocolate on top and I adore it.
  • I eat Taco Bell sometimes because the heart wants what it wants. As long as you're within your calorie goals, don't beat yourself up! Enjoy.
  • I've lost 70+ pounds and very very few people have said anything--I don't like having my body commented on, so I would never do it to someone else.
  • I get as close as I can like, instead of "grilled chicken sandwich" I'll try to find "grilled chicken sandwich with pretzel bun" and then pick one to the high side
  • Was it good? I mean, you can't uneat it so don't beat yourself up, sometimes I get the world's MOST INTENSE cravings for fried chicken strips so i have em, log em, and make sure to enjoy every bite. 235 is a nice size salad with chicken and a low cal dressing! No big deal, friend, you're fine.
  • My buddy takes Lyrica for nerve pain and doesn't even track her food and it hasn't, that I've noticed anyhow, made her gain any weight, and looking at pics of her from 2 years ago there doesn't seem to be a difference. It worked really well for her pain wise though!
  • I was 200 pounds at 5'3'' when I started C25K. I'm now an avid runner and 130 pounds. You can absolutely do it, and I turned out to love running
  • Hard to say, because some of the things I adore, like pickles, are low calorie and thus people wouldn't call them treats. I don't have a very big sweet tooth, but I probably spend 600 ish calories a week on bourbon whiskey, which is my 'treat'
  • Running is the "only thing that works for me" because it's the only thing I enjoy at all. It has really nothing to do with being 'better' than anything else, it's just the one thing that I can enjoy new NSVs on that matter to me. I mean, trust I will never dog you for running because I too, adore it, but really anything…
  • I just reached my original goal about a week ago (hemming and hawing between going for more or not but whatever) besides weighing my food, which has been said many times: --weekly deficits/banking for the weekends. This allowed me to be a part of regular life easily, go out with friends, etc, which made this not feel all…
  • It's really 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, but for me it helps me 'budget' better, like if I splurge on a random Wednesday it's easier for me to figure out what I have left for the rest of the week rather than a rolling 7 days that's always changing, which was harder for me to plan around, so I go Monday-Sunday.
  • I just skimmed a reader's digest article, but it kinda sounds like what I do naturally/easily--run a weekly deficit, with some days high and some days low. I mean, I find it helpful because then I can work in more flexibility and it's easier for me to stick to, I've lost 72 pounds doing it this way. I don't know if it's…
  • I can't see your diary, but I would almost bet money you aren't using a scale to weigh your food. It's so easy to overestimate, and a very common mistake.
  • Depends on how we define "cheat day" I bank calories for the weekend, so yes, my weekends are higher than my weekdays, but I run a weekly deficit. This is the most workable lifestyle for me because I can go out with friends and such. (This is especially true now that I'm beginning the transition to maintenance) I do have…
  • Same, @PrizePopple . I cringed. Doing these things with your child, when, trust, the world will already make her feel awful for not being clinically underweight, as we see with young girls on these forums time and time again, is really, really, ill-advised. Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, find other…
  • My family always goes nuts for Passover, Seder is one of three days a year I don't even track ahahah. We live in a rural area, so we actually know a guy who raises lambs and ended up with some INCREDIBLE lamb.
  • I tried Keto/LCHF. I was cranky all the time and also gained weight because as it turns out, I am a human being ENTIRELY capable of eating an entire bag of lil smokies in one sitting.
  • For food: "I'd really like to eat that/try that" For exercise: "I really don't want to/I'd like to do something else." That's it. I don't pathologize my relationship with food and exercise, as much as is humanly possible. I've been down that road and it's horrendous.
  • ahahahah SERIOUSLLLY, I drink probably 5 a day, no regrets.
  • Your goals should be for you, and your aesthetic, and your enjoyment. I think it's always a mistake to go off what you think you SHOULD want. For me, I wanted to be smaller, but I wanted to be soft, I am very into your sort of vintagey Marilyn Monroe in her white swimsuit look. Other people want a harder bodied physique.…

  • Hell, I lost my first 35ish eating my caloric requirements of bourbon and chicken wings, I didn't change my diet at ALL. Deficit is all that matters.
  • I find personally I really like the ~ceremony~ and pampering of a glass of wine almost as much as the wine itself, so I buy fancy sparkling lemon water or something like that and drink it from a champagne flute.
  • Yeah, here I'm always a small, but when I order from Japan and China, it's p much always a large, sometimes XL
  • Define what's healthy to you? Under a certain cal number? High protein? high fiber? I eat a lot of olives, pickles, carrots, jerky, those marias gamesa cookies, wasa crackers, lil smokies, cheese--just depends on what I need/want at the moment.
  • "size 6" is such a fluid concept anyway, but I have ordered clothes from Japan and China, which I assume have similar stuff as Korea, and I'm pretty consistently a large at 5'3'' 130 pounds.
