Trying a moderate-carb diet (between 60-80 grams per day) for 3 weeks helped me figure out where I was "wasting" calories. As someone who eats a mostly plant-based diet, it wasn't sustainable for me. But I now have a much better understanding of some pitfalls I can easily avoid and feel better moving forward with my goals.

Ditto! I took about 3 weeks off from tracking and didn't gain any weight (phew). I think you probably have the tools you need to do okay without daily tracking. And like someone else said, I never did track on weekends (not near a computer on weekends), so maybe that is something to consider. I still weight myself…

My friends and I used to get home from drinking and make scrambled eggs with salsa, black beans and shredded cheese (we're talking jarred salsa, canned beans and pre-shredded cheese - easy stuff to have on hand.) SO good and full of protein. I even make this when I'm not drunk. :)

I weigh myself everyday, but only record my weight on Mondays. Like someone else said, it helps me feel accountable for what I eat each day (knowing full-well that daily weight can fluctuate based on many variables.) I SHOULD do my measurements, though. Perhaps this weekend.

I'm 5'2.5 and my goal weight is 125. I'd love to say 120, but at 40 years old I'm being realistic. I'm currently STUCK at 129 so I've been doing more weights and strength training, in addition to cardio and yoga. I want my mid-section (belly, hips, waist) and my upper arms to be more toned.

Great job! Keep up the hard work -- you are motivation for me!

I'm 5'2 and I'm around 1300 calories a day. I try not to eat more than that when I work out but sometimes will indulge. I have been losing by sticking to this.
