  • If you are going low carb... and need a crunchy snack.. pork rinds are a zero carb snack item. That and there are a s back called whisps.. they are cheese that are baked to a crispiness. Losing chips is a hard part on me going low carb and those are some decent substitutes.

  • Three Major kickers 1) My son looking at me in my bathing suit and saying " Daddy you got a big belly." 2) Snapping my diving board 3) Thinking that I was " Knocking it out of the park" with my wife one night only to find that I was " Squishing her". <-- final straw.
  • it is if you don't use alot of fruit. If you juice mostly vegetables with just a small amount of fruit to sweeten then you will be fine. But if you go to fruit you will find that you use more (and take on more calories) than you would if you just eat the food. Now I am not saying stay away from fruit, just saying realize…
  • I used everydayhealth.com to find the calculations for all of the Insanity workouts. I then made it in my data base for exercises on MFP.
  • make sure you are searching the whole MFP data base as well. Not just the ones you have already done. If you are using your computer click Exercise>database and search. If you are using a phone, tablet or Ipad then go to cardiovascular and select browse all.

I am now eating to gain weight because I want to be a 165 lbs. Insanity is awesome I always recommend it to any one that has the mental fortitude to stick with it.…
  • Definitely Protein....Shakes or bars if you are in a hurry. If you are going home after the gym, make a meal. Lean meats (if you eat meat) whole grains and fruit.. I go to the gym before my family wakes up in the morning. Just as I get home they are waking up.. I cook eggs and turkey sausage everyday and then switch up the…
  • I do the majority of the cooking in my house. I am easily bored with anything. This includes food. The best thing I have found was re-introducing myself to my spice rack. You can cook all the same things you find to be healthy and not get bored with them because of a different flavor combination. If you grill a lot... well…

  • I am a red wine drinker.. As long as you keep it down below half a bottle a night ( that was me) you will be fine. Especially if you have the space in your calories. The antioxidants in red wine help fight free radicals that can cause fat gain. If you drink red wine, then I am sure you have heard of the "French Paradox"…

  • I recently finished. I didn't start counting calories until about week 5 though. Results are fantastic. I am down from 205 to 175 in about 3 months ( I started over). The first week or two are tough to get started. You will be sore and just want to NOT workout. But if you get passed that and just do it then by the third…
