  • I'm the same. I either eat foods I'm not supposed to (intollerances and the like) or I am WAY under! I'd second nuts, and maybe try to just add more quinoa or brown rice since it is a healthy carb. Also, potatos are high in calories but pretty starchy. it's hard isnt it?!

  • I have heard that in order to lose body fat % you want to up protein. I'm shooting for 100g of protein a day since i weigh 119....hope that helps!

  • It really depends on your height,weight and how your body's metabolism works. For me, Level one for 25 min burns around 186 calories. But I am 5'1 119 lbs approx. I got my metabolism tested and it's low, but i wear a heart rate monitor now so that's where accuracy comes from I suggest buying a HRM it's really helped me!

  • @midcoast_mermal: I LOVE purely decedant. so good. It's just hard for me because if it's gluten free, then it has corn or soy in it. its very hard to find products that don't have anything. getting sick of gluten free oatmeal all the time.

  • if you just ask for vodka soda then its a vodka with soda water. soda water=no calories. (it's the same thing as seltzer water) delicious. plus tonic has corn syrup and calories. blech

  • I have the Polar FT7. If you get your heart rate tested it's great because you can put in your base level and your threshold level. Then it tells you when you're burning fat vs. sugar AND how many calories you've burned during your workout which is very handy.

  • When i was doing research for a HRM and getting it set up the trainers told me that they are very accurate once you put in your weight, height, threshold heart rate and base rate...i think these things are cruicial.
