I used to really struggle with binge eating (like I could eat an entire container of Chips Ahoy! or a bag of chips in one day). I have two tools that helped me with this: 1. Don't buy the junk. If you don't have it, you can't eat it. 2. If you MUST have the junk (and there are days), buy the smallest portion and healthiest…

Get some rest and start working out when you feel better. Exercising when you're sick can do more harm than good. You can try warming up and doing light exercise to see how you feel, but stop if you start feeling nauseous again.

I love raw veggies with hummus, especially carrots and bell peppers. Also, broccoli, peas, and cucumbers with yogurt dipping sauce from Safeway.

Hi! First off, you can do this. It will be hard, but it will be completely worth it. It's hard when your family, the people you live with, don't support you, but it can be done. SO here's my advice to get started: 1. Does the rest of your family eat a lot of sugary stuff? If yes, try buying less and put it in a place where…

I love it in lettuce wraps with turkey. I just spread some hummus on the turkey, put a dash of paprika on it, and wrap it up in a lettuce leaf. Perfect grab and go lunch.

I have 25 pounds to go, and they've been much harder than the last pounds. I'd love to help support you through your last 10 pounds and receive…

Being able to zip up a hoodie my sister gave me without sucking it in and feeling like the jelly in a stuffed donut!

I'm not in a relationship, but I had gotten sick of being the "fat friend" surrounded by skinny people. Now I'm down from 225 to 160 with 25 pounds to go. I wish you the best of luck in your fitness goals! Do not give up because all of the bumps are completely worth it when you start feeling healthy and beautiful. Feel…

I would think about changing your exercise routine. If you are doing a moderate-intensity level, you might consider upping to a higher-intensity level of exercise. Also, you might consider not just what food you eat but when you eat it. I know my downfall is late night snacks, and, if you go to be soon after, your body may…

Hi! I just joined MFP. I've been working for the past 3 years on my fitness goals. I got to the last leg of my journey and, well, stalled, so I knew I needed to make another change. I hope that we can encourage each other as we change our lives for the better!
