Any of the Jillian Michaels DVDs are amazing. Some of her workouts are on the BeFit channel mentioned earlier. I would recommend starting with 30 Day Shred to get a feel for her workouts and to up your fitness level. :)

Eventually I'll stop and just eat sensibly. My plan is to continue counting calories for a couple weeks after reaching my goal weight to make sure that I have a good understanding of what eating at maintenance is for me. Then I'll keep a watch on my weight and inches. If I see myself slipping, I'll go back to counting for…

Great questions! I recently wondered about this too. There's a lot about this on the forums if you don't get the answers you need. Good job on finding your TDEE. Your TDEE already takes into account calories burned during exercise since you have input how active you are to calculate it, so there's no reason to eat back…

Okay, here are the final measurements. Starting/Ending Weight: 160/ 157 Neck: 13.5/ 13.5 Waist: 34/ 32 Hips: 41/ 39.5 Bust: 38/ 36.5 Stomach: 38.5/ 38.5 Upper Arms: 12/ 12 Thighs: 25/ 24 Total pounds: -3 Total inches: -6 Also, I went from a 36C bra size to a 36B. And in pants/dresses, I went from a size 13/14 to an 11/12.…

That's fantastic, pinkford! Progress is progress. You have earned your happy dance! I'll be posting my measurements on Sunday.

I'm on Level 3 of 30DS. I experienced a lot of soreness too, but I did a few things that helped my body adjust. 1. I added on 2 minutes of stretching before the DVD and another 2 minutes after. The warm-up and cool-down on the DVD really aren't enough, especially the cool-down. 2. I make sure I had proper form when doing…

Level 2 is difficult and I stuck with it for 13 days while I did Level 1 for 6 days. HOWEVER, Level 2 really helps to build up your strength and endurance, which makes Level 3 (once you move on to it) easier to do.

I've been hearing so much about spaghetti squash. Excited to try this!

For the record, I would skip for Baileys and hot chocolate too. Yum. I'm getting a little weight loss. I haven't checked my measurements yet (and I probably won't until the end). But I can definitely feel more definition in my arm and leg muscles. I hope I'll get more results by adding something after shred. The thing…

This might seem cold, but it's the truth. 1--You cannot safely lose 2 pounds in 2 days. 2--If your boyfriend breaks up with over your weight, then you deserve much better. And, really, what difference is 2 pounds supposed to make with this? 3--You said you stay under your calorie goal MOST days. If you're serious about…

I feel you! I think I've convinced myself to wait until the very end to do any measurements. I'm still weighing myself weekly, though. I think I'm afraid that if I don't see physical progress (like weight and inches loss) I'll give up. We can make it!

I do Jillian Michaels' too, although I haven't done her body revolution. If she has you go through circuits in the workout (which, with Jillian, I assume she does), then list your exercise as circuit training. Unless you have a heart rate monitor to help you accurately track your calories burned, this is probably the most…

I think I'm going to do Ripped in 30 after this and then maybe Yoga Meltdown. Also, I'll be doing C25k since a friend wants me to run a 5k with her at the end of January. We'll see how is progresses! I'm glad you're back to shredding with us!

Darn YouTube. Do you have your own copy of 30DS? You can get it for $10 at Wal Mart.

Hmmm. Well, then, I have no idea. I hope you figure it out, whatever it is. Keep us updated!

I haven't experienced that. Are you eating anything pre- and post-workout? If you're not, this might be one of the reasons why. Eating something at least 2 hours before you work out makes sure you have the energy to get through it. Eating something within an hour of working out helps replenish your energy and your muscles…

Oh, ow, sounds painful! I hope your appointment with the doctor goes well and you figure out a way to treat it. Thanks for the update! Hopefully you'll be good as new soon so you can rejoin us!

Yay! Another Level 2 person! It really does challenge you, so I think I'll be okay with this level for 2 weeks or so. I love the ab movements in this one.
