Grammatical errors... your, you're and loose, lose etc. My loose skin When people "can't understand why you're not losing weight" only to go in their diary and see they had a Big Mac & fries for lunch My mother in law and best friend going without acknowledging my 135 pound loss (my mother in law in general) People who call…

Thanks so much everyone for the input! Definitely may have to re-think eliminating the FitBit after a review like that! I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond, I don't mind investing my money on something fitness related, but it has to work! I was unaware that the UP didn't connect to PC what a bummer!

I have seen some bad reviews as well, but everyone has good and bad I suppose. It was between the Jawbone Up and the Nike Fuel but I seem to lean toward the Up

Thank you, I wish it were purely a cosmetic thing (as it wouldn't bother me as much) but the itching and occasional burning in folds really irritates especially now that its summertime.

I find I snack a lot less if I have had some caffeine in the morning, which I like because I tend to get all of my supplements in with my coffee and I dont have to worry about downing all of them right before bed. I do have an "irregular heartbeat" or palpitations but I haven't had it looked into yet, but I have a low…

I have no idea how to use Tumblr, but I will give it a try for sure, thank you!

Oh yes, as hard as it is, I will be waiting until I am done having kids and losing weight etc. and waiting to see what my body will do on its own, but I have a feeling I will need some help as I have a large flap that falls down in front on my tummy, and my arms are pretty bad as well... sticking to it though, thanks for…

Congrats on the weight loss! I am happy to hear some of it is tightening up for you! Do you think yours will shrink up enough to live with or will you be looking into removal?
-
Thanks so much Ann, those surgeons sure do make a pretty penny don't they? You have done so well, stinks that we are left to carry around "leftovers"... I thought that maybe since I am young and quit smoking years ago that I would have some luck but its looking pretty bad. A friend of mine recently purchased one of those…

Yes I am sure I would have to have some pretty extensive complaints to get any help with coverage unfortunately. I too drink my recommended water intake, slather up with lotions and I take supplements like evening primrose to help with skin hydration and elasticity, plus I do weight training as well. So I am doing…

Oh what I wouldn't give to be Canadian for a while, hehe! Yes most surgeons require a maintained weight for at least 6 months to a year before they will go forth with a procedure, I will have a while to wait in that case as I intend on having another child eventually and wouldnt want to stretch anyone's handywork, but I…

You are right I need to be documenting everything it completely skipped my mind, pictures will do a lot of help thanks for the reminder

I will definitely look into his story, thank you

I agree, I have been very careful about itching and have tried a few different hydro cortisone creams, but I'm worried it will start itching everywhere else i have the skin too and it's extremely irritating. The creams dont help as much as its a "deep" itch if that makes any sense. Thanks for your response!

My arms are the biggest problem area at this time, my stomach and thighs are also pretty bad.

I keep my friends list under 100, I read their food diaries and get to know all of them on a personal level because I feel we are all completing this journey together, so I like when someone has a picture so I can put a face to a name etc. Just makes for a more personal experience I think, I only have a few friends who…

No typo, the recipe makes 8 cups of orzo "stuffing" but I cant eat a whole cup so I put it as 16 servings since I can old eat 1/2 cup at a time (post op). So the calorie could would be a little higher for anyone who wanted to eat more than half an acorn squash and 1/2 cup of the orzo stuffing.

From 5'7 and 360 to 240... and I have lost an additional 20 pounds since the "after" photo was taken! Feeling amazing and healthy and HOT! Over 135 pounds lost and about 70 to go!

I love seeing some girls who have a lot of tattoos (minus the breast and face areas) but I personally dont think I could pull off too many
-
Glad to hear your amazing weight-loss hasn't effected your tattoos! I agree that placement is everything
-
Yes, it will take a long time to save up since my insurance will not cover any of it, but eventually I will HAVE to get the excess skin removed because as it is now there's a lot. I thought the same thing, covering the scars with something but scar tissue isnt the easiest to tattoo over either I hear. A dreamcatcher sounds…

You have a KILLER figure, congrats on the weight-loss AND keeping the chichis! I would do horrendous, unspeakable things for a rack like yours, flaunt it!

Thanks everyone for your responses! I agree with waiting (as difficult as it is) and I know that the healthier I am the better my pregnancy will be... I was 360 pounds when I was pregnant with my son and I was just so miserable. My surgeon and nutrition team have not given me a goal weight, but my personal goal is 150-160…

Thank you for sharing, two month post op, you must have been scared! I have heard it can be very dangerous if it happens that soon after but I am so happy to hear you and baby are healthy, I would very much like if you kept me posted of course!

Finished my first 5k with my 74 year old grandmother and my 11 month old son this weekend... over 100 pounds lost makes a big difference, I have found myself a healthy new addiction... 10k in October perhaps? You guys can do it too!

In reply to how I lost the weight: The first 60-80 pounds I lost eating under 1,200 calories a day (still following a gestational diabetes diet as well) and did about 30 minutes of intentional exercise a day. I lost 25 pounds doing 5 weeks of a pre-op liquid diet, all the rest has been post-rny weight loss, I eat under 900…

Really? MY ARMS look good? We should be besties... hehe I HATE my arms... I take measurements and they have actually gotten BIGGER from the weightloss (with all the lovely gravity). My boobs and butt have shrunken down a ton as well but I keep reminding myself why I did this, to get healthy so can be around for my kids and…

Thanks everyone! Steely reasoning for the 77 is so I can get down to about 150 (considered normal for my 5'7 self) and then get pregnant again... and since twins run in my family I want enough allowance to be able to get pregnant without going over 200 pounds. Thanks again for all of your kind words, keep fighting the good…

Thanks girl! We are getting there!
