The whoosh effect, gotcha. Well at least now I have a name for it so I can look into it some more, I couldn't find anything without a name, thank you! Makes sense of course, I know that a day of upping my intake helps as long as its mostly protein but yesterday was a normal protein day..

I have also done "liquid diets" (broths, protein powder, broth based soups and vegetables) to break plateaus but it came out ineffective, yet I have a few bites of junk and I am dropping? It's very frustrating & I know I am not the only one this happens to.

Health-o-meter is the one I have. It's a digital scale, it holds like 4 users and it will measure bbody weight, bmi, body fat, muscle, hydration all kinds of stuff... I love my scale I spent like $50 on it at Walmart

Positive about the count on my serving. I made a batch of the stir-fry that yields about 10-12 "me size" servings. 1,300 calories if you ate it all yourself, but divided by 10-12... about 127 calories a serving. As for the chicken, I used the database to tell me how many calories for a chicken leg without the skin.

I have friends that use the garments but I can never find them long enough to wear without chaffing. I would love to lift on a more serious level, but I don't have access to the gym at this time and all I have is my 10 pounders here at home with my 10 month old in toe hehe

Normally people focus their attention on rewards if they make the goal... but some of us just learn to live without the prize so I find punishment (especially in exercise form) to be very effective. It would be so hard for me to stay off Facebook, that's a good one! Whatever works for you!
