Shoe shopping with my sister.

Complete a 10k in April, a half marathon in September. Keep logging. Get back into my pants from the last time I lost weight.

You can do it. The trick is to not think of this as a "diet" but as a long term lifestyle. Slow and steady does it!

A few options that I tend to combine with cottage cheese: * Baked apple slices, cinnamon, almond slices and a drizzle of agave syrup. * Pear and raspberries with powdered vanilla * Blueberries and cinnamon

I would divide the original recipe into 100 gram portions and count that as one serving?

Tried a new gym class today and loved it!

There are some snacks that are both healthy and have a bit of calories. Peanut butter/other nut butters, for instance. I use avocado for a snack sometimes. And I can eat about a mountain of Greek yogurt - tasty, and tons of protein.

I got pain like that after a fall, turned out my tailbone had gotten a pretty nasty bump. I saw an osteopath about it, it took a few weeks to get back to normal. Other than that, I agree with the above poster: If it doesn't go away, see a doctor.

WINE! Oh, and chocolate chip cookies.

Your diary isn't open, so I couldn't check - but WHAT you are eating throughout the day matters for how full or hungry you feel. I am on 1400-1500 calories and hardly ever hungry. Make sure to eat enough protein and fibre (keeps you full for longer.)

Absolutely love this idea! My list: 1. My eyes 2. My smile 3. My legs (mid-thigh to ankles) 4. My collarbone 5. I have really great posture 6. My butt 7. My hands 8. My toned upper arms 9. My high cheekbones 10. My hair

1. Rolled oats 2. Oat milk 3. Apples 4. Eggs 5. Greek yogurt ....Can't believe wine didn't make the list, haha. Must be b/c I've been alternating white and rosé wine.

Bumping, b/c funniest thread ever.

I'm in pretty much the same situation; lost 10 kg a few years ago, but they've all crept back on me. Now I am getting rid of them for good! Feel free to add me - I'm in Norway, always nice to have MFP friends in more or less the same time zone. :)

A gym workout doesn't have to be 2 hours long. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week, but rarely for more than an hour at a time. This + walking pretty much everywhere I need to go (within reason) = burning a whole lot of calories.

I train hard for two days, then take one day "off" (but still walk a lot, do a little yoga, just something to get moving). My body responds much better on the next training day when I organize my workouts like this.

Fitbit Flex user here, feel free to add me both on Fitbit and MFP. :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/2SRJCP

Two NSVs this week: 1) My trainer noticed that my body has changed. We measured, and I've lost 3 cm around the hips since the beginning of the summer. 2) I went on a complete food binge last night (wine, pizza, candy - call it a cheat day or whatever) and miraculously didn't gain any weight!

I found an old pair of jeans that I haven't worn for at least two years. They fit!

Add me if you like. :)

Fitbit tracks how much you burn, not how much you should eat. If you are aiming to lose weight, MFP will have you at a caloric deficit - 500 kcals less than you burn, for example. If your Fitbit finds that you are more active than you have entered as your MFP activity level, you will get extra calories added to your daily…

What sort of socks are you wearing? Sweat transporting socks can make a huge difference. But for me, blisters occur whenever I'm breaking in new shoes. I bring out the Compeed for a few weeks until the shoes fit me properly.

I have a terrible habit of snacking late in the evening, even if I'm not really hungry. Eating because I'm bored, more likely. I find that peppermint, ginger or liquorice tea work as a great substitute for eating.
-
I'd love to participate.

Could also be due to high sodium content in your cheat day foods - that will cause your body to retain water.

Yes, I'm back at it now. Lost around 10 kg three and a half years ago using MFP, running and lifting weights. Slowly, the kilos have come back on, mostly due to not watching what I eat. But I am determined to get back to 63 kg now, and keeping it off!

The only consolation is that as your body gets used to strength training, you won't get as sore after a workout. It might take you a few weeks to adjust, though. It's a good motivational factor for keeping going, though. I had to stop weight training for a few months due to an injury. After my first session after the…
