I dont think you need to soak it or rinse it or talk nice to it or whatever.... I have a pot of elk stew in the fridge at home.... just cook the tougher cuts forever.. (a day).. add some tomatoes to the soup or roast.. .the acid helps break it down and make it tender... very good and super low fat. We grill the backstraps…

I agree with the poster that said stop at one burger.... There is nothing wrong with having what you crave as long as it is in moderation. I think Im probably echoing everyone else.... but first of all congrats on your progress! thoughts.. eat a better breakfast... dont drink calories.. have some oatmeal or eggs or yogurt or something no more 100 calorie snacks.. (Im guilty of them too).. you have the room for a few more calories so try a protein bar…

I love Quest bars..... 160 to 200 cals and about 20 grams protein... I order them online...

We primarily eat deer, elk and antelope. It is much leaner... We hunt and butcher it ourselves so we have control over what is put into the burger... ( a lot of places add fat to make it taste more "beef like") so if you are buying online watch out for that.

For anything to become a habit... you have to do it first. You just GO.. whether you want to or not. I have NEVER regretted working out... or after a workout thinking.. "Well, THAT was a bad idea". Once you do something for a while (I have heard a month) then it becomes a habit.

For me... a size 10 was larger than I wanted to be... Now Im a 6 or 8 and I am happier with how I look. It is all individual.

Were they mean?? Do you mean the people running it? NO! Everyone was very encouraging and cheering you on.... It seemed like the guy who was spraying us with the fire hose as we crawled under the barbed wire was mean... but he was just doing his job!

I know the feeling Im addicted now!! I did burpees on the spear throw and the rope climb at the end.... I found the muddy slanted wall with the rope the hardest... I was most proud of completing the traverse wall! How long is a beast?? Where is it? Gosh.. They need more races in Montana!!
