Once you start a regular exercise routine, you may note an increased appetite. If you're using exercise as part of a weight-loss plan, you still need to attend to your body's physiological needs. Plan recovery meals that nourish you without boosting your daily calorie count too far above your expenditure.

God I love rice! That definitely doesn't sound like a "healthy" way to lose weight, but I would enjoy it very much! :) When I have rice with my meals, I always cheat and pick up a pint at the Chinese place....already cooked, steaming hot. But that's true, Asians eat rice with every meal and they are itty bitty!!

Did you get any suggestions from your doctor about weight loss with thyroid issues? I'm not an expert on thyroid issues but I do know it makes weight loss more difficult so maybe you can seek advice specific to your own body.

Hi, It may take you a while longer to really notice any significant changes - one day you'll wake up and it will seem like you lost it all at once. Don't get discouraged. Keep an eye on your food intake and keep exercising. You body needs to "catch-up" to where you mind wants it to be. Keep up the good work! David

If I were to pick out a vitamin D supplement, I would lean toward one with D3, but it may not matter that much - after all, D2 has been used for many years.
