Diet sodas actually trick your body into wanting to eat more. The fake sugars tell your brain and body that you are about to have a real sugar rush, then when your body realizes that you dont have any sugar to process, it triggers a hunger response.... with that said.. i do down a big gulp a day of diet dr pepper...

beets- i love them roasted wash well, wrap with foil (like a potato) stick in pan with a little bit of water (the water helps to hasten the baking time). pop into a 375 degree oven until you can easily stick a fork in it. about 40 minutes. remove peels and eat kale: wash the kale well and remove woody stems. cut into…

Although I am tall, I have a small to medium frame and think my BMI is super important. Currently I am on the high end of being "average/healthy" and look it. When in the mid range, I not only look better but feel better. I use it as another means to check my progress, other than a scale or tape measure.

I like to do a shrimp and veggie stirfry with extra veggies and have them stirfry it in broth or water instead of oil, that keeps it pretty low in cals and fat and high in fiber and protein.

DRINK TONS OF WATER and eat lots of fiber. If you are eating too much fiber, however, it will bind you. I suggest if you are having tummy issues to bump up your water intake to at least a third if not half, more than you are currently drinking...
