  • First day of logging in a year? Too long.
  • @Cellery67‌ Same but level 2 for me - let's start over and do two weeks in a row of this level- we can keep each other on track.
  • Update: (edits from orig post) I (WAS) in a low place and have really let the wagon run me over numerous times since I fell off back in September. I'm (FINDING INCREDIBLE PEOPLE TO PUSH ME) looking for help & encouragement. I'm (SEEING Positive results) hoping this challenge will keep me accountable and kickstart the…

  • I'm starting on the green smoothies too. My MFP buddy suggested them as my mid afternoon pick me up when I'm craving sugar. I tried a combo that I really liked last week: spinach, frozen peaches, 1/2of a vanilla muscle milk and fage 0% Greek yogurt. I've been dreaming up combinations since I realized there were different…
  • @GTRguy‌ great job! So refreshing to have others notice your hard work. Keep it up

  • Confession: I have daily chocolate that I don't log. What is this brain problem I'm facing? Why do I feel embarrassed to report it? Even if it fits my macros? Reality: after three weeks of getting up at 4 am to cross train with cardio, abs, and decent (8#) weights, I feel like a different person than I did when we started.…
  • Actually, I truly appreciate the positive support I've found on a variety of threads over the years. Perhaps those who post about the religious shortcomings of the OP or any of us who have replied are entitled to shame other and use the forum for snide judgement. Personally, I don't see the need for their participation in…

  • Or you could just not comment on the thread if my comments annoy you so much.

  • Doesn't your pastor also read the passages that state "those in glass house shalt not throw stones", and to "let he without sin be the first to judge?" Just me on my soapbox, but I don't think you have the right to condemn the OP - let the girl reach out for accountability sake and let the other posters find support from…

  • I always try to give up something and add something. Socially - I'm giving up Facebook and Pinterest to be fully present when I spend time with my husband and I'm adding a volunteer activity at least twice in Lent. Fitness - I'm adding a greater sense of accountability (I'm giving up eating crap and pretending it never…

  • Went for lundi gras rather than mardi gras. Actually not feeling guilty or sick. I wasn't going to log it - but the truth is important, so here it is.
  • Started Level 2- sweating like a beast
  • Bumped up to level 2 of 30day shred - I'm sweating like a beast! Have been having really bad cravings for fudgey chocolate. Last night sat around thinking about what my dessert will be today on my day off (which spiraled in to what kind of cheat day will I have...) woke up still craving fudgey chocolate but realize that…
  • Really wanted a fudged brownie - walked around the grocery store twice trying to find just 1. If I'm going to cheat, I refuse to have more temptation. Couldn't find it. Ate two slices of cheese instead. Not a great substitute.
  • 1/2 cup water 2 large handfuls fresh spinach 5 fresh strawberries 1 frozen banana
  • Finished level 1 this week. I can do 17 real push-ups in a row! Moving on to level 2 on Monday. I only have 8 pound weights so I do as much as I can with them, then drop one. How is everyone else doing?
  • @pinkbike2ride‌ I too fluctuate A LOT, so I weigh only once per week (first thing Saturday morning). It take willpower to stay off the scale during the week. @megannxx‌ Thanks! I feel a LOT better just getting back in to the routine. (Now, for the dietary changes... Weight loss in the kitchen, muscle building in the gym)
  • Week 3- Finished level 1 of 30DS. I can do 17 military push-ups and then finish out on my knees for the first strength series AND do another 12 in the second set of push-ups! I'm using 8 pound weights for as many of the moves as possible then go down to one weight when My shoulders are fatigued. I can feel the difference…

  • Mid-week, tempted to step on the scale, but also a little scared. The 4am wake-up to work out is definitely not routine yet, I accidentally fell back to sleep this morning and will have to make it up tonight.
  • Welcome! Welcome! Keep making those positive choices!
  • Great job everyone! Keep it up!! Week 2 will be even better than week1.
  • @katie5467‌ I'm doing 30DS too, day7 of level one. Keep up the great work.
  • @megannxx‌ ...thinking about you, did you do insanity today? New personal best, right? Keep it up!
  • @‌steph_135 Make time for you to do whatever exercise you love, and to eat healthy. Be kind to yourself. The past doesn't matter, nor exist. Let it go, appreciate that you are doing this now, cause that's the only time we ever have. Focus on the positive and build on that. Is some things slows you do, but let that pass and…
  • @megannxx Don't give up! Remember that in addition to kicking butt, you are also building muscle - and fatigued muscle holds on to water to try to recoup. Keep drinking LOTS of water and keep pushing! I bet you'll see the results soon.
