Thats great news, mlweaver! I also had a NSV at work about a week or so ago: I was standing by the copier in my new jeans (1 size down) and a shirt I'd bought last summer on casual friday and co-worker approached me and said, "Wow you are really looking good with your weight loss!". I was beaming and very happy someone…

Lost 3lbs this week :)

I used to take that a LONG time ago for a short time. However, about 6 months ago I had a random seizure. When I went to the ER they found some of those old pills in my purse. I hadn't taken them in years, but the ER docs threw them away immediately saying how bad they were. Long story short, the seizure was probably…

I have an OXO Digital scale and I LOVE it! It's about $25.00 at Target and is slim and easy to store. Nice because it's flat and you can actually put a plate or dish on it. http://www.target.com/s?keywords=OXO+Digital+Scale&searchNodeID=1038576%7C1287991011&ref=sr_bx_1_1

I would totally disagree with not having dairy. It's a part of a well balanced diet and studies have shown that dairy such as milk, consumed after a workout, is actually good for you and helps replenish and recover your body. Don't cut it out completely! :)

Thanks!!!!!!! Feels good to be 1lb away from completing (successfully) the 10lb challenge for May. You thinking about doing another one for June? That would be AWESOME if you did - that way we could carry over our group :)

Hey there, I can't see the list when I saved as a pic - can you post the large version please?
-
Thanks everyone for your help and advice - I was so upset about it I needed to post it and was hoping for some encouraging words which I definitely got. I am going to get back on the wagon tomorrow and pre-portion all the crackers in ziploc bags.

Girl, you have nothing to be ashamed of for posting those older pics - you should be PROUD!!!!!!! You look AMAZING! So throw that "big girl" self consciousness out the window and be the confident, THIN woman you are! You are inspiring to others and I can't wait to get to my goals so I can post my "Success" story as well.…

Yeah, I hope there are some good answers on here, too. I started my weight loss journey at 234lbs with the goal to lose 2lbs per week. MPF set me at 1200 calories but I am wondering the same thing. Hopefully I won't hit a plateau right away since I have 100+lbs to lose.... Help!

I am hypothyroid too and am on about 150mcg of synthroid per day. I'm doing pretty well and I've set my goals to 2lbs per week and have been averaging a little more actually. I'm not motivated right now to add in exercise quite yet, but I have been sticking to my calorie limit every day and have been successful thus far.…

Wow - that's impressive and inspiring! Great job and keep up the awesome work and progress!

Obviously there has to be SOME physical attraction, but I honestly think that the better his personality the more attractive he gets! Any guy who can crack jokes and get along with my crazy family while having a soft romantic side is an A+ in my book :)

I pretty much eat the same thing every morning but I like a filling breakfast too so this is what I've found works: 3tbsp egg whites: 25 cals 2 slices wheat low cal bread: 100 cals Kraft 2% Fat Free Singles: 45 cals total: 170 calories Sometimes I add spray butter....sometimes I change up the bread, but you can't beat the…

Thanks everyone! I am eating 1200 because that is what MFP recommended (for 2lbs per week loss). Maybe I'll try to up it - but I'm scared I won't lose. Yeah, I am definitely thinking about the Polar FP7

I started at 234 at a tight 20 (probably should've been in a 22 after seeing all the red marks around my waist after trying to squeeze into them for an entire day) and I am down to 221 so I have lost 13lbs. I haven't quite dropped a whole pants size, but I know EXACTLY what you mean - my 20s are still pretty snug in the…

I'm hypothyroid, too! When it started to get bad (and before I knew I needed to get it treated), I gained about 80lbs in just about two years. I gained an additional 20lbs when they initially thought depression was the underlying issue and I was going through a bunch of medications. Finally they put me on meds for my…

I'm scared as well. This morning started out with me nonchalantly picking up and eating not one, but TWO peanut-butter filled chocolate bite-sized Malley's Easter bunnies and eating them at about 10:30am. And then I proceeded to eat a peanut MnM before I was like....whoah. This could be dangerous. I had a split second…
