. I am also on week 5. I finished day 2 with the 2 8 minute runs. I was also doubting myself, but it went real smoothly and could not believe I did it! You can too! I do my running on M, W, and F. I do Jillian Michaels on the other days to strengthen my core so I can run more comfortably. Good luck to you!

I was told not too long ago: What is taking so long losing your weight? I lost 46 pounds in 3 months! When I responded that I am slowly doing this reducing so it will last-- I was told-- well, it was so easy for me!

Finished 30 day shred and today I did the first day of ripped in 30. My final results from 30 day shred: Bust: -1.5 inches Waist: -2.75 Abdomen: -1/2 Hips: -1/2 Thighs: - 1 inch on each one Upper arms: - 1/2 inch on each one

I lost inches by doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. However, I am 5'10 and have lost 19 pounds, but have not gone down in pants size yet. Probably because my current size was soooo tight on me to start with! :)

I am 5"10 and I order my pants from the Old Navy website where I can get them in long and the "dreamer" jeans fit wonderful. And they are not expensive jeans. Also, you can get more dressier and more expensive jeans at Long Elegant Legs. Nice fit also. Hope this helps you. :smile:

That is just so awesome! I really DO know hard it is to lose weight when one has has UC. It has taken me since October to lose 18 pounds!! So I think your 25 pounds lost if just plain fabulous!!

I did the shred with bad knees and ibuprofen helped me a lot. And actually, I really believe the shred made my knees stronger. Just be mindful of jumping jacks and the other exercises that require you to come down hard on your knees. You can always do other cardio like running in place.

I am on level 2/day 4. Am getting used to the planks now. Each level does get easier the more days you do it. I use 6 pound weights and feel a lot stronger now.
