I always make lasagne with ground turkey instead of ground beef and I use whole wheat lasagne noodles. Like someone said... you can do anything you would do with ground beef...

Two high fiber foods that were not mentioned yet are Avocado and Legumes (black beans, lentils, etc.). Not really low calorie, but as others have mentioned, you could swap some things to have more room in your daily calories.

I agree with the posters that say you need to UP your water intake (possibly significantly). But since only one person suggested the third "component" for being regular, I'll say it... You need plenty of FAT... Think of it as lubricant for your intestines :) There were good suggestions where to get healthy fats from. And I…

I was gonna say the same thing... It is hard to tell from your diary, but MAYBE you just aren't eating enough? I don't know how tall you are or how active, so I don't know what your TDEE is. But if everything came back normal, your body may just not getting all the nutrients it needs... Just a shot in the dark, because…

You're diary is closed, so i have no idea how many calories you're eating or what your macros look like. But as far s being regular goes, there are three things that are important (two were already mentioned): Lots of water, enough fiber (try to shoot for ~25g a day), AND enough (healthy fat in your diet! If you are on a…

Personally I would go with the Fresh Berry Caprese Salad and add shrimp, but since you said you don't like seafood, you could add grilled steak or chicken instead.

bump to watch WHEN I'M NOT AT WORK lol

As someone mentioned, the third "ingredient" for being regular is enough fat in your diet. I imagine if you up your fiber intake by that much, you may also need more fat. But as others have said part of it is probably just your body trying to adjust to the increased fiber intake. I have heard before that if you try to…

I am at 1800 a day and don't log on the weekends (definitely over), but I still lose. Slowly, but it's all about what's maintainable in the long run.

I went from a 38DD (while still nursing) to a 34DDD/G (depending on brand), so I really didn't lose mine... Maybe you'll get lucky. But I agree with everyone who says that it is a matter of proportion. I have an hourglass shape and my chest is the same measurement as my hips no matter what I weigh, and I had boobs and a…

As someone mentioned, there are parts to the equation. You said you get between 25-30 g of fiber per day which is great, and you drink 3 L of water, also great :) But unless you have enough fat in your diet to help "move things along" you will remain constipated. Skip the laxatives and fit your guacamole and feta back in…

Cottage cheese, canned beans, greek yogurt and fruit (i also put flax seed on mine), raw vegetables and hummus... I' sure I could come up with more, but that's just at the top of my head.

I got mine when I was 22 and had kids at 29 and 30 y/o. I left the piercing in throughout both pregnancies (i.e. delivered with piercing LOL). They make flexible ones (teflon) and those are longer too. So that's what I wore the last month of my pregnancies :) Still wear it, I love it :)

I was gonna say Jerky as well...but I prefer turkey to beef :) Also, if you like hummus, you could make the same from any other bean... Black bean 'hummus'...yummy!!!!

I am surprised no one has commented on her "claim" that she is "barely" in the healthy BMI range at 140 lbs and 5'6". Your goal weight of 120 lbs would put you at a BMI of 19.6, which is actually slightly under "normal" range (20 - 25). 140 lbs, puts you pretty much in the middle of the healthy range (22.8). So even if you…

Just took my 2-year old, and 3-year old to the doc for their well child check yesterday. Paperwork said that if they have a fever over 102F take them in. Just my two cents :) But I agree with others who have said, call the doc and ask :)

I'm set to 1700 a day, on occasion I am over, and sometimes under... But I definitely eat :) Feel free to add me. I did 1200 in the very beginning when I didn't know better, but I get grumpy when I'm hungry LOL

30 minutes without a shower? I need 30 min maximum WITH a shower...and that includes eating breakfast... We get up at 7 and are out the door by 7:45...and that includes getting an 18-months old and almost 3-year old ready and fed LOL But I don't really wear make-up and my hair is wash, brush and go...saves a lot of time.…

The percentages are based on % of your calories. So if you consume 1200 kcal a day, then 30% is 360 kcal that should come from protein. Protein has 4 kcal/g, so you end up with 360 kcal divided by 4 kcal per g. That puts you at 90 g of protein per day. And FYI: Protein and carbs have 4kcal per gram, Fat has 9 kcal per gram.

I hear you... We have two Aldis pretty close to us, both the same distance...but we always go to the one that has double carts :) TO keep it even, I usually carry both - our 22 lb 1-year old and 27 lb 2-year old LOL We usually end up chasing both of them. Having toddlers is definitely a workout...

And I see a lot about stocking up on burp cloths... Which is what we did, because we heard it from everyone too... But both of our boys ended up pretty much never spitting up (guess we just got lucky) and I literally NEVER used any of ours... Our boys did just fine without the wipes warmer and a plastic container with hot…

I agree with other posters that a diaper genie is a waste of money. As far as swings/bouncy seats and the like go, my oldest wouldn't stay in either, he screamed if I put him in it. But Nr. 2 loved the bouncy seat...for about 2 months LOL We had a bassinet with the second one and he was in it (in our room) until he slept…

I do the same thing :) I was just wondering, because it is important.

Something no one has mentioned... You don't log your water intake. I didn't check your sodium consumption, but not drinking enough water can keep you from losing weight too. I agree with the other posters about eating too much, but you definitely need to check your water intake as well. I know that for me if I don't drink…

I agree... It really makes you wonder what they thought before... Of course it probably also has to do with the fact that weight loss is a much more accepted topic in our society than talking about someone gaining weight or having weight to lose... Backhanded compliment for sure...nothing "weird" about getting healthy :)
-
I totally understand what you mean... I haven't lost near that much, but I did go from a size 12/14 to a size 8 (at least so far). But I don't see a difference in the mirror. The other day I went shopping and grabbed a pair of pants from the rack that were a size 8, but looked tiny and the only reason I tried them on was…

My littlest one is 11 months now (I have 2) and I started the journey about 4 months ago. Please don't just cut out the carbs to lose weight quickly. Much better is well balanced (carbs, fat, and protein) nutrition and keeping track of overall calories consumed. You need carbs to fuel your body and a low/no carb diet may…
