When I was a teenager I as a "naturally thin" person and I could eat whatever I wanted w/out it touching me. I did not have the attitude that you are describing these girls have, that is horrible! At any rate *trust me when I saw this* it WILL catch up to them - I am living proof:) Once I had my 3 kiddos my metabolism…

I agree. Another interesting fact is muscle does weigh more than fat so even though the scales can indicate weight loss sometimes it can't if that fat is replaced w/ muscle! I think the best way to really determine if you are losing is by taking measurements. I do have a scale that calculates body fat %, muscle weight %…

Reading this Thread it REALLY sounded like me 3 years ago. I had started Insanity/had my diet on point and lost quite a bit of weight! My co-workers were relentless; I think one of them even started the rumor that I had an eating disorder, another one called me sickly to my face when in all reality I had never been so…

If you don't know than you aren't ready to marry either of them and probably not ready for marriage at all.. both of them deserve to know the truth, a healthy relationship cannot be built on lies.. Just my opinion.

I would say ludges and squats like alot of people have already said, hold weights in your hands while you do them. Be sure to get your daily protein!

I agree with you on this. Growing up I had a fast metablism and could not gain weight no matter how much I ate (part of the reason I am in the situation I am in now). Alot of people judged me for this and would make rude comments.. whick was better in the long run, gave me a back bone! Anyway-I was talking to a friend of…

I think it is great that you have never had these issues. I guess you can't understand where someone is coming from unless you have experienced it yourself. From the posts I have read in this thread I do not see anyone that I would classify "needing help". Kind of a rude comment in my opinion. Nobody is perfect and…

I rarely wear makeup although I can say that it definitely boasts my confidence when I have it on!

I used to dwell on what others thought of me and I know exactly how you are feeling. I had a TON of good friends and when I needed them the most a lot of them had turned their backs on me. Ironically *this* was the moment I was able to break free from the burden of worrying about what others thought of me. I did a lot of…

I’m a working mother too and I agree w/ everything you wrote! Just because you work outside of the home does not mean that you can't raise and are less part of their lives. I BF my 3 children until 12 months too! "Quality" time is very important whether you are SAH or a working mother.

min age requirement for facebook is 13 so atleast 13. Maybe older? I haven't really thought about it, my oldest is 7 so we have a long ways to go:)

Your original comment made it sound like you believed that all SAHM's have all of this time to pursue learning various skills. I just felt a need to speak up for those mothers who work hard as a SAHM and might not have the time/energy to put into something like that. For mothers who do have this time that is great, a lot…

A getaway with my husband!

SAHM's definitely do not get the respect that they deserve; I would have befriended you during those dinners!

Never called anyone a bad SAHM, actually said prompts to all SAHM's. To each their own. All I could say is if I had the opportunity to stay at home w/ my children I wouldn't ignore them. I do not give my children all of their WANTS I give them their NEEDS which is love, guidance and attention. What is the point in being a…

I work full time and have never experienced the job of being a SAHM although I am not so ignorant to think they would have enough time to add activities in their days. At least not the good moms:) The ones that *really* do their jobs is the ones that *pour* their attention onto their children and maintain their household.…

I think that no matter what decision a married couple makes-whether it is the one stay at home or both works there is always pros and cons. With that being said I do not think that a decision like that should affect your marriage negatively. Those who work should be not resentful for not being home w/the kids and vice…

I don't want to scare you although the person I know just found out a few weeks ago and she is due in Feb... she just thought that she was not getting her cycle b/c of the birthcontrol. Like I said, go see your MD, he/she will be able to provide all of the answers to you. Also-remember that if you are expecting this is a…

hmm.. this release will work very good w/ my Birthday present to you this weekend... unlimited game play while I watch the kiddos :)

I really like this over $50 idea:) might just use it for us, thanks!

My husband and I have always viewed any income as "our" money and it has been perfect to have the same bank account in our 8 years of marriage. Some couples prefer to keep them separated for whatever reason, which seems to work for those couples. Really to each their own, you need to sit down w/ him and figure out what…

Wow! I think if my health was at risk I would want my MD to tell me the truth and not sugar coat things. The truth may hurt sometimes although I would view it as constructive criticism. I think what would be wrong is if a MD sugar coated things and someone passed away w/ something that could have been preventable. Although…

When people slow down to pass semi's, I just want to get past them and will continue going the same speed When people pass you and than slow down in front of you When people ride your tail when you are already going 5 over..

I think you should do what you like when it comes to exercising and what will keep you motivated to continue.

I almost think the new Insanity- Insanity Asylum would be great for someone who doesn't want to loose weight, they want to tone up/get abs. Look at this transition. This lady started at 120lb and I thought her results were great! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDB0YT7JTVw&feature=related

I haven't although I know someone who has. The MD told her "well this happens". At any rate my biggest suggestion would be to go to your MD, this could make it a high risk pregnancy, I am unsure.

That doesn't sound horrible. Each person has their own reasons for choosing their occupations. Would something like in the CIA or profiling, detective? Maybe something military or govemenment related?
