This! I love the EAS protein drinks. They taste great and really fill me up.

Well you don't track your sodium so I can't see that but by looking at the foods you have listed I can see that you are way high on your sodium intake. The more sodium you have the more you retain water. Try tracking your sodium for a week or two and working to keep it under the 2500 that MFP gives you. Drink tons of water…

You really aren't hurting anyone's feelings if you simply say "no, thank you". They offer, you decline. No reason for hurt feelings over that. As far as handling the temptations you can't control them bringing stuff in, you can only control you. So every morning make a plan on how you're going to handle it. If you decide…

Yes. Every single time I stop counting calories I gain weight. It's just too easy to fool yourself into thinking that you're eating okay. Logging food and counting calories keeps you honest, keeps you from deceiving yourself, and keeps you in the proper caloric range. It also teaches you what are right choices and what are…

Really nothing makes someone feel better except understanding that this pet is/was a part of the family and that the heartbreak they are experiencing is real. The worst thing you can say is "it's just a dog". It's not just a dog, it's a cherished and beloved member of the family and their passing leaves a big hole.

yes, it was Nationwide. When EVERYTHING is stolen they should provide it free for life. Actually, it was their fault. They allowed holes in their system which caused this. My dh works in IT for a very large credit union. It's his job to make sure that this doesn't happen. When companies are vigilant on this then thieves…

Your recruiter only wants to get his numbers up and doesn't care what kind of damage he does to you in the process. Tell your recruiter that his expectations are completely unrealistic but that you *might* be able to do it in two months. If you work hard and eat right you can be pretty close to 24 pounds in two months. One…

My first month I lost 14 pounds, I've been stuck since - my own fault though, I got off track a little bit.

Tomato soup and coffee...not necessarily at the same time though.

A couple of things, first I thin it out every couple of months. Second, I use lots of conditioner and make sure the conditioner is worked through really well. Also, there are some detangling sprays out there (check the children's shampoo area) that work really well. Spray the tangle and then comb it out. another thing that…

This. I swear by Airborne as well.

140 is pretty low for 6'2". My son is 6' even and weighs 131. He is so thin I can see his bones - he's a cross country runner and runs between 8-10 miles a day so he can't gain weight. My dh is 6' also and when he weighed 170 he was super thin. Based on the two of them I'd say your lowest weight shouldn't be under 150.

We both knew the night we met but we were friends for several months and dated for three months before getting engaged. Married 6 months later and we've been married for 19 years.

This is tough. I got to a point in May that I couldn't take my job any longer and put in my two weeks notice. I didn't find a new job again until August (and it's a great job). With savings and my husband's income we were okay for the summer but if I hadn't gotten a new job when I did it probably would have gotten tough.…

Do not do Zumba for at least 8 weeks. My first child was a C-section and I did too much too soon. After a while (few months) I started getting horrible pains in my stomach around the incision point. My dr said it was nothing and to not worry about it. When my daughter turned a year old I got pregnant again. The pains got…

Yes, they absolutely are. When I was in my early 20's I lost 60 pounds and suddenly people who never gave me the time of day were coming out of the woodwork to be my friend. Guys that pretended I didn't exist were asking me out on dates. Honestly, I resented it.

A lack of sodium can cause a whole list of medical issues that are just as bad as too much sodium. Our bodies need it to function properly. I try to keep mine well under the 2500 mfp allows me but on my low days I'm still over 1000. I can't imagine keeping it to 100 per day unless the only thing you are eating is fruits…

I always open the building so it's going through and turn all the lights on and check the thermostats.

I know a body builder who swears by rule #7 (he won the Arnold Classic so I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing) I just can't seem to ever get that one right though. The rest of them are not fun but fairly easy to do (most of the time).....I love fast food though. I'm limiting it to only once a week though.

What app was that?

Don't get depressed, everyone has to go at their own pace. You've lost 30 pounds - that tells me you're doing GREAT things. Hang in there and the walking will get easier to get up to a faster pace.

I am also 5'4" and 4 mph is definitely a jog. Anything over 3.7 mph is a jog for me. Logging it is difficult.

I would clear a space in your bullpen away from your desk and move them there. I understand having the temptation stare you in the face so if you can at least move it a little further away you're sparing her feelings, letting others enjoy but helping to keep yourself strong. I am so thankful I have a new job where that…

Great post. I used to run 5-6 miles a day and loved that runner's high. Sadly, my knees can't take the running anymore and I'm stuck with walking and biking. I do miss running a lot - giving it up was one of the reasons I started to gain weight.

Unless you're anemic you get pretty much all you need if you eat a protein rich diet. If you feel like you need more Cream of Wheat has 50% of your daily iron needs. Lots of cancer patients live on Cream of Wheat to keep their energy levels up because the chemo leaches the iron from your system. I am anemic so I have to…

My dh makes veggie juices for breakfast and lunch every day. I watch him make it and say NO THANKS! I will say he's feeling much better, has way more energy, and has lost about 15 pounds though so it's definitely working for him. My BIL has been juicing for about a year and all of his "bad numbers" from the doctor have…

Let's see if I can describe this because I don't know what they are called. They are little car dashboards. They have the steering wheel, a gear shift, lots of buttons to push. Both of my kids would sit on the floor and play with that thing all the time around that age, they loved it. It also built their hand eye…

I cut out caffeine months ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I actually have way more energy now than I had before when I was living on caffeine. I now have one cup of coffee 3-4 days a week because I enjoy it, not because I feel like I need it.
