There really is no right or wrong answer to this. Every situation is different. It's sad that your marriage ended in a divorce.. It's heartbreaking you've been struggling for years... but on the other hand, as I often say... If you pour and pour into someone else's cup, with nothing in return, one day you will have nothing…

Have you tried Sparkling Waters? Cascade Ice is my favorite. Especially Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Orange. I love water and couldn't go without it... But I do know of some that have a hard time drinking it. Baby steps :)

Dont buy anything that tempts you... No matter how yummy it is. Sometimes even too much healthier food can pack a mean punch with calories. I experienced this about a week ago. I bought Jalapeno Cilantro hummus dip and ate the whole thing within 2 days.. Oops. LoL.

It's all mental. YOU have to tell yourself no. I don't care what anyone says, food is an addiction and it's something you have to over come. Tell yourself no, and stick to it. Keep a water bottle, gum and perhaps a HEALTHY snack with you. I was an emotional eater before too. I'm not anymore because I've told myself no. You…

I don't have a recipe.. a healthy one anyway. I'm just commenting to say I love country style pork ribs.. lol.

I'm about 5'5 1/2.. and so is my best friend. She sees a personal trainer and her PT told her that her perfect weight is 155. She has a "small" frame (and so would I, if I was closer to my goal). So I'm going by that. I would LOVE however to be around 140.

Walmart sells Sugar Free Maple Brown Sugar instant oatmeal packets. It's like less than $2 a box. The produce aisle is your friend.... Also eat red potatoes. Filling and cheap. A bag of lettuce is $1. You're thinking of Totino's pizza's, top ramen and macaroni and cheese.. all that inexpensive cancer in a box stuff. Don't…

You need to see an Endocrinologist. You need to find out the root of the cause of low thyroid production... In my case, I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. If you don't get it under control your symptoms will become worse. Google all of the symptoms of thyroid issues, think about that plus the ones they don't list. You can…

You look phenomenal. :flowerforyou: I figured I needed to lose about 145 lbs to hit my goal weight when I first started on September 12th. Half way there! Thanks for the inspiration. I love posts like this.. Helps keep me optimistic about my future results.

Sprinkle red peppers and Parmesan dipped in hidden valley light ranch... Yum.

Eat a couple Tablespoons of peanut butter. Not very filling and an easy 200 calories.

I'm sure at one point in your life, you have made a mistake in spelling. Per your own thinking, your very own existence is now null and void. Grow up. The whole Grammar Nazi thing is completely old. GREAT thread. I find it wonderful when somebody goes out of their way to help others.

I had read alcohol can slow your metabolism by up to 70%. I use to drink wine sometimes before I started dieting. That was also before my Dr. pointed out I'm allergic to it and should stay away from alcohol all together. So, I'd say I definitely feel better not having it in my life.

Spaghetti Squash!!! You can eat it as pasta!! Only 40 calories a cup, verses 200 calories for regular pasta. It's amazingly good and filling! Use some Light Ragu and whatever meat you think would go good with it. YUMMM!

::Sigh:: I'm sorry to hear that. Some people are so rude. You can add me for support!

I had that problem for the first month of eating healthier. I was so hungry I was miserable. It takes awhile for your body to adjust to smaller portions and healthier options. Make 100% sure you are drinking at least 8 cups of water a day. Dehydration even in the slighest CAN cause extreme hunger. Up your calories manually…

You look fabulous. Congratulations!! I'm happy you were able to find a way that YOU enjoy, that kept you on track. I think that's key! :flowerforyou:
