Highest was 308lb. :( Never will I go back there. I'm currently 178lb. Still got a bit to got till my first goal of just a normal BMI of 135lb. I have no idea what I'll look like at that weight so I may readjust when I get there.

I've had lap band surgery (I wasn't thrilled with the idea of changing my digestion). I have to tell you, I kind of wish I hadn't. But it gave me the motivation to actually do something about my weight. I am actually not using my band. Though even though it is mostly empty it does still restrict me a little. I've learned…

If you're taking a diuretic the night before, you are not getting an accurate weight necessarily because if you're not retaining any water you are just dehydrating yourself therefore making yourself lighter.

I have been eating about 1700-2000 calories per day, I've been trying to net around 1400. I was trying to net 1200, but bumped it up a little.

I think it does. Tonight I have a holiday work party, so I've ate like 200-300 calories under my exercise calories all week, knowing I'd be going over calories today.

10 lb is not heavy at all. I carry dogs around that are much bigger than that. I'm up to 208 lb leg presses. I lift heavy once a week til my muscles give out. This was advice I got from a trainer. I increase the weight as I go along.

I usually have 500-800 exercise calories to eat and recently changed my weight loss goal to 1.5 lb per week, since according to my BMF I should be eating more. I sometimes have trouble eating all my calories too. I have been eating nuts which is not to many for a lot of calories, but also just recently got a jar of Peanut…

Have you tried increasing your calories? I have the lap band, but I'm actually not using it. I ate at 1200 calories for the first 8 months, then I hit a wall. I work out 6 days a week, burning 500-800 calories or more per session. I finally realized, those workouts were not sustainable and for weight loss on eating only…

I looked back at a picture from 2002. I was probably around my heaviest then. A humungus 308 lb !!(about) For some reason I never thought I looked as big as I was. I was like OMG WTF did I do to myself!?!?!? Why did I ever let that happen? But it is to me a sign never ever go back there. I'm not sure if I'll ever be a…

As for the cramps, I used to get really bad ones and same with you if I was off I'd lounge around all day. I was going to go on BC to try to help with the symptoms, because I had started getting extremely nauseous the day of my period, so much that I never vomitted but I was close to it, and I couldn't work the first day.…

I too weigh everyday for the most part. Sometimes if the scale is up, I'll stay off for a day or two and then come back. I only record losses and I only record those losses if they occur on my weigh in day (Monday). I've had weeks, I'll be down 2 lb in the middle of the week, but by weigh in on Monday the scale is actually…

Mine is usually boredom. The other day at work it was slow and I was bored. I even said I;m going to go eat dinner, not because I'm hungry, but because I'm bored. I actually felt hungrier after I ate.

I love chocolate! I can't have it in the house or I'd probably eat the whole thing. I do have some most days. I either go to 7-Eleven and get a little mini snickers or the mini reeses cups, (I'm sure the guys who work there think I'm weird). Or when I'm at work, I go to the little 25 cent vending machine in the lobby and…

I love my BMF. I obviously do not know the mechanics of it, but I don't see how without actually touching you it can tell how much you burn. I broke my plateau after realizing through my BMF that my caloric deficit was way to high. I too though still log here and put in a daily estimate.

I'm going to go with to small. I'm still losing weight and if I get pants comfortable (especially jeans since they usually have stretch) by the time I break them in, I just find them annoying since I have to keep pulling them up. I don't like wearing loose pants. I'd rather just wear a longer shirt to hide my stomach bulge.

When you increase your calories you will see a gain, though it is just your body getting used to the increased intake and after a while your will start losing again. When I started eating my exercise calories (going from only eating 1200 calories and working out 6 days a week), My weight went up 1-2 lb. It took 6 weeks of…

I have used it for workouts in the past. I do have Wii Fit plus, EA Active and ZUmba. But perhaps the ones I like the best are not sold as workout games, but they are great for it. Just Dance 2 and Michael Jackson:The Experience. I really like to dance (mostly in my own home, not to fond of the grinding that goes on in…

I went and got it to deal with sever symptoms I was having during TOM, and was told BC would help. My weight immediately went up. I was like screw this, I'm working so hard to lose it I don't want this. My mom told me that when she was having issues she took Vitamin B complex and B6. Started taking those daily and I…

I hope not. I sometimes drink up to 2 gallons per day (throughout the day of course.) but during my kickboxing class I drink 32 oz. then maybe 16 oz or so after, and on my drive home drink another 32 oz. So in a span of 1.5 hours I already have more than the recommended amount for the day. Seeing someone mention sodium.…

When I was talking to one of the trainers at my kickboxing place, she told me no carbs for 2 or more hours before working out. I think the reason is you may burn that instead of fat.

I was told that I too had a vitamin D deficiency. I was put on once a week supplements too. I took them for like a couple of months (my insurance would only let me fill one month at a time, and it was annoying to get filled every month and I just kept forgetting). I did start thing my calcium supplement with extra vitamin…

My trigger point to gaining weight. I was always a little on the heavier side. But my real point is when I turned 17 and started driving and being more independent. I was gaining before then, but not to the huge extent. I think part of it was my mother is very into fitness and stuff and always harped on me about eating and…

When I was using my HRM (I use a BMF now) I would let it run for a few more minutes. My resting HR is like 54 about, and I can get my HR up to 160's during my workout sometimes. I usually let it go until it hits like the 80's and then I stop. While your HR is up you're still burning more calories, so why not let it go. I…

I agree, eat more! I was burning out from my workouts and one of the trainers told me to eat more, she was surprised when I told her I was only eating 1200 calories (at the time I wasn't eating my exercise calories). In fact she asked me again today if I was eating more. I assured her I was. I now try to at least net 1200.…

I have a BMF. I just got a replacement due to my old one's battery stopped charging. I loved my old one, but this one has been weird since I got it. For example a few days ago I was at work, not doing crazy activity and it said I had burned over 700 calories in under 2 hours. Totally not correct. I cleaned it4 and it…

So I started with eating 1200 only for like 8 months. Lost weight, then stopped. Most of that time I exercised 5-6 days per week, so most of the time my net was only like 500 calories. 3 months ago, I started upping my calories. I now eat back most of my exercise calories. Sometimes all, but sometimes I can't eat that…

Go to the "edit off body" function an you can edit for when you weren't wearing it (Provided it was off for greater than 30 minutes). There you can add activities you did. There should be one for swimming and it will calculate how much it thinks you should have burned while you were doing said activity. I love my body…

I understand that. I have the same problem myself. I have a bodymedia fit, so I know how much I burn a day. I usually burn 3000 or more calories per day. So I can eat 2000 calories or more and still have a 1000 calorie deficit, so I know I won't gain, but I'm scared to do so. I've been debating getting so regular peanut…

I'd say my biggest struggle is at work, when people bring stuff in. I can keep it out of my house, so it's not in front of me, but when I'm at work and it's around me, I have no will power.
