As much as sometimes I complain about it, I love that sore feeling. I know that means I had a good workout.

I believe you can. I did WW and they do that their (you have the whole week to use your exercise calories). I think, as long as at the end of the week, you have a deficit, it all works out.

Took me a solid month to lose anything when I started eating my exercise calories. During that time the scale was up a pound or 2. Just stick with it.

I love my body media fit. I have a bluetooth version. The nutrition tracker does suck, but I just use MFP and input my daily estimate in, so I can see my deficit. Unfortunately it stopped charging after 2 months, they are replacing it though and I'm supposed to get it back tomorrow. And it couldn't come sooner, I've missed…

Agreed! I did diets like Jenny Craig, as soon as I went off I went back to my old ways and gained most of it back. I went on WW prior to going back over 300, I didn't wanna go back there. So this time it's a life change and not a diet.

I understand what you mean. I let myself go for Thankgiving and due to leftover desserts at work, I was bad Friday and Saturday as well. I was going to start today and I stayed within my calories, but my sodium intake is really high today, so I know the scale will reflect that tomorrow. All I can say is both of us start…

Give it some time. It took me a solid month of eating my exercise calories for the scale two move, and yes I was up a tiny bit during that time.

I'm NEVER without those in my freezer! I love them!

I did! I'm up about a pound and a half. I do not think it is real. Probably retaining water among other things. I ate well yesterday, though probably less than I would have previously, so I'm happy in that respect. I'm sure the scale will drop in a day or 2. But official weigh in is Monday and if I just weigh as much as…

I think it is rude. I won't even tell friends how much I lost. I am not one for discussing it.
-
I agree! I fully intend to enjoy my Thanksgiving, not worry about calories. Then I will jump back on the horse Friday.

I know, with me, if I have a larger than normal loss. I most likely am not going to lose the following week. I may even be up. I know when it's up it's not real weight gain though. Last week, I lose 2.8lb. Which is a lot of me. This week, I was up a lb. I didn't record it though, since I know it isn't real. Hopefully this…

Give it some time. After I got mine, I realized my daily deficit was huge, sometimes 2000 calories, so I upped my calories. I knew I had a deficit, but my weight after going up a tiny bit, went back down, then for 5 weeks I maintained my weight, even though my deficit was still sometimes over 1000 calories. Finally with 7…

It depends. I live alone, so I only buy things that won't go bad at costco. I love their individually wrapped frozen chicken breasts. That's a staple item in my freezer. But I don't buy things like veggies there because they will go bad before I eat them, so it's not worth it. So if you have a family, yes it's worth it.

2 oz dry is the same as whatever it is cooked. All you are adding to it is water. So if it's 174 calories dry, it is the exact same cooked.

Highest recorded weight was 308 # :( :( Seeing a picture of myself then, makes me wanna vomit and die. I can't believe I let myself get there. :(
-
You need to eat your exercise calories, and set your weight loss goal to 0.5 lb/week. 1000-1200 calories is to low since you only have a tiny amount to lose.

While I'm not nursing, I use a HRM, I've found I have to put the sharp so it's within my bra, so it can't go anywhere. I found if I put it below my bra then during kickboxing it slips. I still have had some problems with it losing the HR, but this seems to work better.

I no longer have over 100 lb to lose, but from my highest recorded weight I have lost 128.4 lb. On y most recent weight loss journey, I started with 111lb to get to the high end of a normal BMI, and I've lost 67 lb, so far.

What in the world did you do to burn 1806 exercise calories!?!?! That's amazing! But you should definitely eat more

I wore some spanx (well some other brand, but same thing) for my sisters wedding, but just to smooth things out a bit. I would not wear spanx, for something like a halter top. Personally, I can't stand when overweight people wear form fitting clothes like that. My sister is overweight and she is always wearing clothes that…

I used to not eat mine back, eventually my weight loss stalled. I started eating them, and I did gain a little the first couple weeks, then I maintained for a bit, but finally, now the weight is starting to come off again, and better than before. So for those who say they can't eat their calories back because they gain,…

I weigh everyday, but only record once a week (now Mondays), and I only record losses, not gains, because the way I eat, I know it's not real weight gain.

Gender especially absolutely has everything to do with getting actual calories burned. A male and female both walk on a treadmill at the same speed and the same distance. The male will be burning more calories. Just by the way his body is made, more muscle and stuff. As for the HRM debate. I would get one, so you know the…

If it wasn't for wyler's light flavor packets I would not get my daily allotment of water. The only time I drink plain water is when I'm working out. But when I flavor my water, I drink at probably around 160 oz per day. And since coffee has caffeine it doesn't count as water since it's a diuretic. So I was told actually…

I've been taking the pill form. Not sure if it's working, but someone recommended it. I wouldn't be able to mix it with my drink, as I got a taste of the pill in my mouth and nearly vomitted.

I have an old model of polar, can't recall what model, but it's about 5 years old. I've worn mine in the pool many times and it still works fine.
-
Oh, I totally want that. Where'd you get it?

I think as long as your weekly calorie deficit is good, that's all that matters. When I was on WW, they let you use your exercise points all week. Yesterday I had a 1500 calorie deficit, according to my bodymedia, so if I go over today I won't care that much.

I can't> I was on Jenny Craig for 3 years and lost 70 lb. I got bored of there food and stuff. I said I'll take a week off. I never went back and sadly gained back like 55lb in a matter of like 5 months. I will never do that again. I lost all that work and maybe I would be at my goal by now if I didn't.
