  • I had wants a reduction for a long time. But since I've lost half my weight I went from a DD to a D. So I'm fine with the size, however I desperately need a lift. My breasts have been disgustingly saggy for years and recently I can't even take off my bra without getting a pain in my right one which I'm pretty sure is due…
  • Exactly. This is what happened to me. I just kept with it and after a month the gain was gone and I'm fixing my metabolism. you 'gain' on these days because your body isnt used to getting those extra calories, if you consistently started eating that much, the small gain would come off and you would continue to lose (or…
  • I have a BodyMedia Fit. I love it. With it I've found I plateaued because I was eating at a ginormous deficit and since I've got it, I've been trying to fix my metabolism. Haven't really lost much yet, but I think my metabolism is starting to get into gear.
  • I've never personally taken it, but I know it increases your appetite and causes weight gain. My dog developed Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (basically his body was attacking his red blood cells) he needed a blood transfusion. The treatment is steroids and immunosuppressants. Well, he's on prednisone, being tapered off…
  • I wear a BMF, I used to eat 1200 calories only and no exercise calories. After getting my BMF I realized I was eating at way to large of a deficit for 2 weeks I've been eating all my exercise calories which can range from 500-750 per day. I've maintained my weight for the past 4 weeks. Wondering if I should try higher…
  • While I'm not a wheelchair user, I would think that the calorie counts would be designed for those who walk. So I would think that maybe you would need less, since you are not walking around. I wonder if you search around the web if there may be a site that is directed towards nutrition for the handicapped.
  • I've been trying to eat all me exercise calories recently, so I'm doing about 1700-1800. Making my net 1200. Though I may eventually try to make my net 1400.
  • I just got my BMF like 2 months agpo, but this looks a little better. Even waterproof. I'll have to see reviews and cost.
  • I wasn't going to not track. I'm still tracking, I was just saying what she said when I asked her about calories.
  • As for the jumping around, I'm trying to figure out what is going to work for me. As for a goal, I would love to lose like 1.5 lb per week, and I did have that average, until I hit this wall. I know losing more than the 1-2 is not healthy. I had a polar HRM for a long time and I still do. But like I said now I have a body…
  • Well she went over what I've been eating, which was very little carbs. She told me to add in carb, but low GI ones, must have 3 g fiber or more in them. Barilla Plus pasta, and bread with the fiber. No carbs before working out, about 3 hours and none 3 hours before going to sleep. Also she recommended Apple cider vinegar…
  • A HRM will not tell you calories burned in a day. It is only deigned to work when your HR is elevated. If you want to know the calories burned in a day you have to get a bodybugg or body media fit
  • I've been eating very few carbs for 9 months. No pasta, bread maybe once or twice a week. I hit a plateau almost 2 months ago and I just had a sit down with a trainer at my kickboxing place, who is wanting to help me. She said to eat carbs, low glycemic, multi grain and whole grain. A few things she said though is none…
  • I was just talking to one of the trainers at my kickboxing place today. She's gonna help me get out of this plateau I'm in. She told me if your workout in the morning don't eat carbs before your workout, she said maybe have an apple or some fruit like that. She also told me right when I get up drink 2 ice cold glasses of…
  • I hadn't been. Now I'm trying to eat some of them and my weight is going up. I'm having such a hard time lately. But maybe if you do it in the beginning it won't affect you like it is me.
  • I hear you amy. I've been working so hard, and recently have been totally stuck. Upped my calories, since I was netting like 600. Lost a little, then nothing and now I'm teetering on going up again. I'm an obsessive weigher and it is just getting me more depressed and frustrated. I'm taking a couple days off the gym and…
  • That's exactly what I do. The food database over there sucks and I can't be bothered to put all the food in there.
  • I know if I don't go to the gym for a little bit I lose more weight. I don't think I eat enough to make up for my 6 days of exercise.
  • I'm hoping this is true. I've been having a little plateau. Today I'm eating like 2500 calories. and dropping back to 1500 tomorrow, hoping to jumpstart my weight loss again. I have a feeling I'll be up tomorrow due to sodium, but hoping it will drop quick. To OP, I agree just eat normal today and exercise and it should…
  • I was recently sick. I felt horrible, I actually called out from work, something that is very very rare for me. (also I rarely get sick). So I stayed home and rested and watched tv most of the day. By the end of the day I was feeling a little better but I was feeling bad because I felt so lazy, since I didn't do anything.…
  • 1. I ignored the scale for so long, it is a hard thing to do. My highest weight was 308# (very hard to admit), so I'm trying so hard to regain my life. Also I've had lap band surgery, so I go see my doc once a month and I am so ashamed if I don't lose enough weight. Last month I'd only lost 4 lb in 6 weeks. So embarrassed.…
  • Really no one will give me any advice???
  • I've been banded for 9 months Feel free to add me
  • any one?
  • I just think you have to be ready in a forms. In my case you have to be so miserable you feel you're at the end and either have it be the end or do something about it. So now, I'm putting everything I have into losing the weight. And I'm not miserable doing it. I kind of wish I had started just counting calories sooner.
  • In order to count your pulse I personally need to stand still. My HR drops pretty quickly, so by the time I count it, it is much lower than it was. Also counting your pulse isn't going to tell you calories burned. I've used a HRM for 6 years ad loved it. I recently upgraded to a BodyMedia Fit. which is fantastic
  • I was eating at way to large of a deficit for quite a while. I was netting like 700 calories or less and is you figure in what my body was burning during the day I was netting negative numbers. I started slowly bumping up my calories. 1400, 1500, 1600. Doing 1600 again this week, since I only lost like 0.4 lb this week.…
