I weigh every day, but I only log the losses, so MFP shows no fluctuations - only the downward movements. That way when my friends congratulate the losses they're always real losses. I know some people don't like to eat "fast food" but I find that a small Wendy's chili is extremely satisfying, lots of protein and beans are good for you too - and it's only 180 calories. For me, something hot sticks with me longer than cold foods.

From what I've read, women need a minimum of about 50 grams of protein to be healthy. If you are burning a lot of calories, it should be more. Here are some of my frequent protein sources. Canned tuna mixed with romaine lettuce, onions, and tomatoes with a bit of salad dressing is pretty inexpensive. I eat canned sardines…
