You took the words right out of my mouth. I am in the same boat and sinking fast. I've lost almost 20 lbs. and just can't see any difference. My first goal was to have someone notice and not one person has said ANYTHING about my current loss. It is definitely disheartening.

Not knowing your medical history, why not be safe than sorry? Can't hurt to get it checked, even if it turns out to be nothing.

I suffered from Bulimia for several years. It's a hard circle to break. You need to seek professional help. Let me tell you what happens to your body that you will never be able to fix unless you stop now..... Teeth - I have fillings in almost all of my teeth due to the acid erosion of purging. When I cough, it sounds like…

I would have to agree with Kennie....your intake seems fine. I would just watch the sodium. Seems a bit high.

I didn't set dates for my goals. I set them as rewards for reaching them. I figure my body will get there when it gets there. No sense in killing myself to reach a certain date. Hugs, Kimber

It IS AWESOME!!!

Janet Jackson or Jillian Michaels.

My two cents as well..... Everyone has a different version of how to lose weight and every version isn't going to work for everyone. Make sense?

Oh, I've had help for my past illness and yes, it IS an illness. I was both bulimic and anorexic. I did alot of damage to my body, but was lucky enough that I was able to see what I was doing to myself and sought help before it was too late. HOWEVER, when you abuse your body for so long, it never really goes away. Just…

Boy, can I relate! I tried eating a desert when we went out to dinner recently and could only take a couple of bites as it made my tongue feel weird and I actually got dizzy. Won't be doing that again! Ate an apple when I got home instead.

I only have one question....since your body requires certain enzymes which come from grains, how do you get around that?

Thank you, Bonnie!!:flowerforyou:

Oh boy am I familiar with this!! I am on day 22 of no sugar. The first three or four days were hell. My body felt like I had a bad case of the flu with a migrane. This is the sugar withdrawal. It DOES go away. To help, I am eating fruits to still give me the sugar, but natrually and not processed. That is how I am losing…

Now, this is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.... Several people have suggested several different types of snacks that will squelch your hunger pangs. HOWEVER, in reading your food diary, you are way over on sugar as it stands. Do you really want to add more sugar? I would think not. I would take a good look…

I just sent you a message. Would like to add you as a friend. Kimber

ALSO, you can't eat what isn't in the house. Get rid of the treats. If you live at home and Mum buys the groceries, ask for her help. About the first week is going to be the hardest to stay away from the sweets. You will get the flu-like symptoms for about three to four days if you completely cut out the sugar. HOWEVER, if…

Hey all, Just letting you know that I used the Truvia in my homemade spaghetti sauce and WOW!! I was definitely pleased with the results. Didn't tell hubby until after he commented that it tasted really good. I made him regular spaghetti while I made myself a spaghetti squash. AWESOME!!!
-
Well, I'm about to attempt homemade spaghetti sauce and use Truvia instead of sugar. We shall see..... I'm also using a spaghetti squash instead of pasta. Have made it before and I LOVE it!!! Just have never substituted the sugar needed. I'll let you all know the outcome.

I weigh first thing in the morning after...ummm.....you know. I use whatever number comes up first. JMHO, it's just like making an A-B-C choice. You either know the answer or you pick one and your first choice is usually the right one. Your always going to get fluctuating numbers, unless you have one of those Doctor's…

You didn't gain the weight overnight and it's not going to come off overnight.

I totally feel your pain! It's hard to get motivated and positive when you don't have anyone who will cheer you on. I work from home and don't get out much, so I have only my DH to be there for me. I love him so, but it's not enough. I came on this board for support and have gotten "zero". I hope you feel better by…

Good old fashioned bowl of Rice Krispies and skim milk. One piece of toast with fat free strawberry jam and a tall glass of water.

Thank you all sooooo much for the words of encouragement!! It really means a lot to me. My DH is a wonderful support person as well, but it's great to get outside encouragement as well. Hugs, Kimber
