The thing is, you're not going to lose weight evenly through out your overall body. You're carrying extra FAT in your mid-section, not all over your body. Pound is a pound . It's a unit of weight. But the there's VALUE of the item isn't strictly based on it's weight . Example ~ Most of us would value a pound of gold, more than a pound of manure.

Getting this into perspective. You're 5' 6" You said you're currently a size 0 to size 2. How about start to worry when size 8 is too tight ? Focus on being healthy. You mentioned you're tired. Have some blood work done. And good luck with your Colectomy surgery !! :)

*kitten* (needs to) happen. Weight fluxuates. Maybe................ Need to Poop. Need to Pee. Need to cut back on sodium intake ( sodium = water retention. And keep in mind even water has weight. 1 pint = 1 pound. So basically if you've eaten it, and haven't eliminated it yet , it's shows up on the scale.

You need enough calorie consumption that you can absorb the necessary nutrients from the food you eat. So your body can function properly. So please don't under eat.

Congrats on your determination & training :) Walking a-ok in my book :) You might consider walking on slight hill. Or walk some stairs, if you think you're ready. Mixes it up a bit. Walking the inclines gets your heart rate up, without the pounding on the ankles, knees, back that running does. Strengthens leg, hip, glutes.…
