It depends on your body type. All my weight came off my waist, chest and hips. It's only now that a lot of the fat is gone from those areas, I'm noticing the weight ever so slowly coming off my thighs. My thighs are still really big even though I'm in a healthy weight range now.

I'm in Ireland. Do you say Pop or Soda? Neither. Fizzy drinks or Minerals. Hoagies or Subs? Subs, but use the word hoagies for a specific type made with steak. Lightening bugs or fireflies? Don't have these but know them as fireflies. Thing you push in the supermarket - trolley Place where you buy liquor - off-license…

Go easy on yourself. Sadly there is no magic recipe. My dad passed away suddenly 10 months ago and I put on 10lbs in the few months after it. It's so hard to care, I know. I wish I had answers, I eventually just got to a point where I was sick of feeling crap physically so I started eating better and exercising and it did…

I am just about to watch the last episode of season 2. Poussey is my new favourite character. She's fantastic.

Oh boy, are my legs big. They always will be. Thighs currently 25'' and calves 16.5''. Unfortunately I didn't take measurements at the start. My waist keeps getting smaller and smaller (29'' right now) and my thighs and calves? Nope! It's like they don't even realize I've lost 27lb! It's upsetting but I'm trying to learn…

I have it every morning with a sprinkle of sugar. It's the only breakfast that keeps me going for the morning. Any time I try to eat something else, I am starved an hour later.

Sorry if I've taken your last post up wrong, but you are off gluten at the moment and getting a biopsy at the end of THIS month, when you'll still be off gluten? That's very unusual. I've several coeliacs in my family and they all had to stay ON gluten until the biopsy or it wouldn't be accurate.

Love this post! I'm so glad I found MFP and I've learned so much and finally understand how weight loss and gain actually works. However I'd be lying if I said I don't miss mindless eating. Sigh.

Blood sausage (we call it black/white pudding here) is delicious. I could eat it every day! Have never cooked with blood though.

I think this is very individual. I've lost 25lb and VERY much need new tops. I'm down to a UK size 10 on top (and unlikely to go much lower since all my weight comes off my waist and stomach really) so this past week I've started buying sweaters, hoodies, dress and t shirts. I've bought them all from sales but I tend to do…

I was 15lb down when I got my first comment. However I only have 42 to lose so I imagine the more you have to lose the longer it takes for it to be noticeable. I know it's frustrating to not have people notice but keep at it. I imagine the next 20lb will make a massive difference! When you start dropping sizes and fitting…

Personally, on days like this (they're rare for me...) I don't force myself to eat all the calories. There are always plenty of days where I'll want every single calorie and maybe more so I figure it all evens out that way.

I tried Kraft Mac & Cheese last year for the first time (I'm from Europe) and... ugh. I thought it was gross, and I tried it with an open mind! I do love homemade mac & cheese though. Nom.

You're so pretty! There's definitely a change there. Great work!

Woohoo, success! Enjoy your tea :) I was coming in to say you were steeping it far too long!

I can't say weather it's accurate or not since every day *isn't* like today but I do quite like it- the other day I had a bad day and was feeling crap about it and it made me realize that yeah, I'd gone over my calories but I was still in a deficit and even if I did that EVERY day, I'd still lose a couple pound in the next…
