24/10 : 148.8 31/10: 148.6 07/11: 149.2 14/11: 148.4 I'm okay with this. I went as low as 147.8 during the week so I'm heading the right direction. :)

I'd prefer to not have to count calories but... it just works. I log, I stay under my calories, and I lose. I can't really argue with that. Honestly I've gotten so used to logging it doesn't take much time any more. And I'm a creature of habit so most days I just need to click "copy to today'' from yesterday's diary.

Congratulations! Keep up the hard work!

I'm up .2. Frustrating but oh well. It's got to come off at some point.

I have oatmeal every morning. Actually can't function with out it! I'm pretty into my routine though. I always make it with 1.2% milk. And I add either 1-2 teaspoons of strawberry jam, or I make up some applesauce and add that. The applesauce is my favourite but I'm usually too lazy to make it.

I get crazy cravings during my period. Last month someone suggested I eat a little bit of dark chocolate to help squash the cravings and I found it actually helped. :)

You look so healthy and fit! Congratulations, it's no small feat :)

I must say, I rarely eat salad. If you're not enjoying them then why bother? I've lost 30lb without eating salads often. It's not like we're so limited with food options that it's salad or Big Macs. That said, every so often I have some friends over and we like to share a big bowl of salad. Last week it was lettuce,…

Spaghetti squash. Don't think it's sold anywhere in either of the countries I've lived in. I'd like to just try it. I'm living in Norway right now so a lot of things are simply out of my budget. I haven't had a chicken breast (or red meat) since July. And cheese. Obviously chicken and cheese are sold here but too expensive…

Certain foods cause me to bloat like crazy (pasta, potatoes, chips are a few I've noticed). I don't think it's crazy to suggest that a food is making you bloat. I don't believe it's in your head (It's not uncommon lately for my stomach to look like the picture you posted...). I have pictures of my stomach after a week of…

I was starting to get bad about binging on bars of chocolate (and other sweets and chips) and about 2 weeks ago I started just having 2 squares of 70% chocolate every day (I'd never even had dark chocolate before). I find it really helps me keep on top of my cravings and I haven't had any other chocolate etc since I…

I don't count people who knew I was trying to lose weight, but I was down 14lb when a coworker commented. That was felt pretty awesome. After that people starting noticing a lot.

I do try to do batches of dinners and put them in the freezer. Usually I rotate between bolognese sauce, pork chili, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, taco meat and pasta bakes. Each batch I make gives me four portions so I end up with a nice stock in the freezer and it saves so much time.

Eggs. Never even used to eat them at all and now have eggs daily. Coffee. Decided to cut sodas out but need my caffeine somehow. Yoghurt. Part of my dessert every night now (chopped fruit, yoghurt and muesli).

I usually do mine on Mondays, thankfully I have a good stock of staples like pasta, rice etc. This week: Milk Yoghurt Eggs Strawberry jam Kiwis Baked beans Dark chocolate Blueberries Potatoes Mushrooms Courgette Jarred sauce of some sort (probably a korma or tikka masala) Ground pork I found some good deals during the week…

Cooking in bulk is best. I'm on a low budget in one of the most expensive (if not the most) countries in the world so I learned to get thrifty pretty quickly. I usually buy a cheapish meat (generally ground pork or chopped chicken), pair it with veggies (frozen or fresh, doesn't matter) and then a sauce like bolognese,…

I'm 5'6 and started at 177. The first time I remember a co-worker commenting (I don't count my family because they KNEW I was trying to lose weight) I was down 14lb. I think she noticed because I wore a t shirt that had never fit me before so I'd gone down a size. A few pounds after that, and a lot of people start…

5'6 Highest: 177 Current: 148 Lowest: 144 (in August, heading back there) Goal: 135, but will probably lower it once I get there.

Just fit it in... I certainly don't work off every calorie I take in, my body does that by itself up to a point!

I'm not really a risk taking person but I guess sitting on the edge of Trolltunga in Norway was probably the most I've done. Great photo op..
